I don’t usually write reviews, but since I was once lost in a sea of information and training products, I figured I would save at least the few people that read this a little time. This is a FANTASTIC product. I originally bought the remote and receiver to replace a system I had been using, but lost the remote in the woods, (different manufacturer didn’t sell just the remote). I was looking for a product that could go in water and had a decent range AND that I could replace whichever component I needed when my next mishap occurs. I have had zero problems with range or holding charge or button functions for about a year now. I recently added a second dog so time for a second receiver. I watched a video online which showed me how to do this and in seconds the new pupper was online! I can’t say enough how easy this system is to use. SAFETY is my biggest concern and I trail ride miles and miles with my dogs. This product helps me keep them safe and gives me peace of mind when I take them with me. Also, I will probably order another remote just so I have a backup : )

I originally purchased a kit including the training collar and remote controller. This current purchase is for the collar only, as a replacement to the original collar. After using the original collar up to 6 times per day for over a year and a half, the battery began to be slow to charge. I think that's amazing life for a rechargeable battery! Even when using multiple times per day, I only need to charge the unit once every 6 weeks or more. After the original purchase, my dog was very easily trained to respond to the beep, and when I really need to get his attention I jump up to vibrate. In over a year and a half, I have only used the shock function 3 times, when I worried my good boy was in danger of chasing a squirrel in the road. This has been the most valuable and effective dog training tool I have ever owned.

This is a great value for the money. I have a boxer and a bully. We use the dual remote. The dogs are country dogs and are rough on collars but these hold up very well.

I got this as a second collar and it works great. But it should have came with instructions on how to pair it the my remote. Other than that it works as I should. Only complaint is sleep mode tends to turn off and not turn back on. But I've learned to check for the blinking green light

My pup puts it through alot and the only thing that's went wrong is his tags on another collar hits the reciver(as he shakes his head)...and busted the on/off button. The battery lasts well.

Love these training collars! They've made training my 2 pitbull 2 year olds. They respect the collars & now we have control of them running off to chase something. There is a choice of 4 attention getters; beeping sound, vibration, light shock & stronger shick.. We live on a big farm & they used to run off together & not come back until 10 pm. Now we can keep them close, but still give them the freedom to run. Thankful for this device!!

Unit shorted out when my dog went in the pond,replaced with secondary device and the switch on the inside of unit snaped off didnt work,so we ordered another unit last try on this unit, dog responses well with the unit but unit doesn't hold up,if I can't trust the product at this point I will go elswhere

We live on a huge piece of land and needed a collar that could be used to train our puppy not to chase the farm animals and work at a distance. This has an incredible range, works even if our pup has been splashing in the lake. The battery lasts 2 full days, allowing us to charge at night and then get 2 days of use. We use the beep feature to find him if he is in the tall grass or far off and now he has learned the beep means we want him to come and he will come running. We could not have calm cohabitation between our dog and the farm animals without this collar, it's a life saver.
