I really like this product. Our old intercom system finally gave up the ghost. This is our new solution. No lengthy or complicated installation just plug-in and start. A word of caution, the speech was rather garbled at first. However, as soon as we turned the volume down it was perfect. All units arrived in good working order. This saves me from going up and downstairs to tell my husband things or ask a quick question.

I bought a total of seven of these based on the reviews and I am profoundly disappointed, I wish there was a zero star option. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while because originally I liked the units so much I bought an additional set to expand the chain. They initially worked great and I thought my issue of having to yell had been solved! After about two months, I noticed that anytime I called on the units, the intercom in my sons room with screech with loud static even though I wasn’t even calling his room. I was honestly busy at the time and put the intercoms away disgusted because I knew it was beyond the return window but I'd try to figure it out later. I recently got the system back out again to try to give them with a fresh start. I felt compelled to write this and review after again being frustrated. Given the investment I made on these units, I’d like to help prevent someone else from having the same experience I did. I read review after review of multiple intercom units before making my selection to buy this brand and felt confident in my purchase. I was seeking an intercom system for a basic 2500 square-foot home, two stories. My sole intention was to simply be able to call and my children’s rooms and avoid having to yell at the top of my lungs to get their attention. After about two months using this system, I would hit a button to dial a specific unit and you could hear other units in random rooms (I was not calling) would disburse loud static at the same time as I placed a call to a specific unit. Very frustrating, there is no pattern of one specific unit being the problem or that it always occurs between two specific units. I tried taking the system down from seven individual intercoms to just four units ( thinking maybe the number of units was causing issue) and I also tried all three channel options and there is no change. I feel like it’s a giant waste of money. Worst part is there’s really no recourse because they worked for the first month. Buyer beware.

There is so much background noise it is almost impossible to hear what the other person is saying

I wanted to use this device to be able to communicate with my children who have computers setup in another room without having to use some Voice software. The open channel option so you could speak / listen without touching the button is garbage. The mic sensitivity is just not good, its a low quality device.Maybe this is useful in a big house to relay infrequent messages about by getting in real close to the mic and talking that way, but it'd be easier to send a text message to your family I think.

we were constantly yelling in our house "Do you have shoes" "Bring down the car keys" now with these in different rooms we use them instead. WE don't use them everyday but when we do we are glad we have them. Ya the audio quality isn't the best but we aren't listening to music with them, just communication.

I Read a lot of reviews before buying this product. I grew up with a father that was a commercial intercom sales person and I have worked for over 30 years as a manufacturing in some form of management. My review is as follows. All 4 intercom came in perfect shipping condition. With my background I started setting up the intercom without the instructions until went as far as I possibly could. My wife in the meantime started with the directions and her impression was that a Chinese person wrote them as they would speak using a translated. When I picked up a set of directions and quickly came to the same conclusion. They really need to write in layman's terms. And anyone with a clue about microphones and radio waves. Feedback is the worst enemy for this type of equipment. If all of the intercoms were spaced an equal distance then life is perfect. When you get two intercom to close to each other you will have to set the volume according. Each intercom needs to be adjusted for its closest sibling and it's furthest. So you can only get the best that it can. We purchased these so our child can track down his mother in case the closet boogie man or under the bed monster is stalking our child. I mounted one on his bed post and the three others where mom is most likely hanging out during his slumber. Just the piece of mind due to the intercom has subdude the villains. All in all a great product and has served it's purpose. For the men I suggest you do not put one in your shop or garage. Make them come to you or you'll never get any work done :-D

These intercoms really helped communication when my elderly mom move in. With her quiet voice, she could not get our attention if we were on a different floor of the house. These solved that problem. The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is that the talk button occasionally sticks.

This wireless intercom system is absolutely the best I have bought so far. I am using it between my office and remote garage 100 feet away which is also a steel-clad siding and roof. It works exceptionally well and has plenty of power and clarity. I would recommend this to anyone needing an intercom system. The price was economical as well.
