As a big fan of handheld gaming devices, I often find the shape of them leads to lack of precision when gaming and hand cramps when used for extended periods of time. This attachment really helps to alleviate the problem.The product itself is sturdily built and tougher than it looks. The handles are just about the right size and shape and make the Vita feel much more like a traditional playstation controller, making it easier to hold the Vita. This is particularly useful for those games that require the use of the back touch pad, as it gives you something to hold the Vita by without fear of dropping it. When using it, I've also found that by default my thumbs are in a much more comfortable position to use the buttons and joysticks, and it makes it easier to play games that require precise use of these, such as Wipeout 2048. The grip also has a nice texture to it and doesn't slip in your hands at all. The locking mechanism makes it easy to attach and detach it from the Vita.The grip allows access to the headphone port, volume and power buttons and does not obstruct the cameras, touch screen or rear touch panel. Unfortunately it blocks the port for game cards, as well as the charging port, so you will have to remove the grip to change game cards or charge the Vita. Fortunately the locking mechanism ensures that this isn't too difficult.Despite this, it makes the system a lot more comfortable to use and I'd highly recommend it for anyone who uses their Vita on a regular basis.

I recently got a Vita and have been using it every spare minute of the day. After around a day of over-playing, I started to get cramps at the bottom of my thumb. I really didn't want to slow down on catching up with the amount of class games I'd missed on the Vita, so I looked for a solution.I wasn't completely sold on this product even after buying it because I wasn't sure it was going to comfortable, and was sure it wasn't going to fix my thumb cramps. I was wrong on both counts!The grip feels sturdy, well-made, and feels much more ergonomic (and personally, less painful) when I'm playing on the console for long periods of time.If I had to list a con... it has an extremely rubbery smell, therefore so will your hands and the console itself. I've had it just short of a week, and the smell is as strong as it was the day I received it.

I got my Vita Grip in the mail yesterday and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately i was let down when the locking mechanism wouldn't hold my PS Vita securely in place. It kept slipping out of the lock. After fiddling with it for maybe 20 minutes i was ready to throw it out. Luckily however i didn't.I tried fiddling with it again today and slid 2 small pieces of folded up paper on each side of the moveable part on the grip for a tighter hold.It ended up working like a charm. I've tested several of my games on it now and it feels great to hold once i fixed it and the PS Vita feels securely tightened.My only complaint now would be the smell from the rubber on the grip.

I have had the original Vita since day one release and found it to be excellent except for the way it fits in the hand. Using the Vita more and more due to the PS4 link I found it frustrating to continually use due to fit until I recently bought this grip. Now the Vita is a joy to use. Even my 5 year old son has noticed, when out of the grip for charging, my son wanted the Vita and immediately asked for this to be fitted.The Vita fits snugly in the grip with no movement, every port, button and touchscreen is accessible. The grip is so comfortable with a really nice feel. My fingers and thumbs reach all the buttons and joysticks naturally with ease and no stretching. It makes playing PS4 games such as FPS's like Call of Duty and Destiny easy. Definitely 5 stars, if you need a grip for your Vita, then this is the one for you.

I originally ordered the: Hori Officially Licensed Grip Attachment (PlayStation Vita) but that was faulty and then out of stock and I was wanting a grip ASAP as I get cramp when using it for over about 30 minutes. I looked at the reviews for this grip and bought it. It is cheaper than the Hori, can't be adjusted but I love it. I found it is more comfortable than the Hori was and this item is cheaper which is a bonus. The vita is secure in the grip, I see people complain that you cannot charge it while playing but I do not find this a problem as it gives me a break while it charges LOL.I recommend this item, it is durable, good quality and I couldn't be happier that my Hori was faulty :)

Unfortunately I have small hands and I found this product to be just a little too big to reach the back pad properly, it also feels a little bit odd to hold and you can't charge your PS Vita whilst it is on.This being said it still feels nicer to hold than holding the Vita by itself and it has a little safety feature which means the Vita can't fall out. I also found out, in my experience, that if you accidentally drop it that it doesn't do any major damage to the Vita (although I wouldn't advise finding out)

A very good product. The vita fits perfectly, and sits in the hand well with soft grip handles and the hole in the back makes for more accurate touch-pad use. The only problem is that the vita can't be charged whilst using it, but for the amount of time it takes to charge the vita, its not a major problem.
