I recently purchased the BOYA BY-V10 Wireless Microphone for my iPhone 15 and it’s quickly become a favourite gadget. It performs exceptionally well for quick recordings vlogs and casual content creation far exceeding my expectations. The sound quality is crystal clear and crisp with no distortion. Even outdoors my voice comes through perfectly without the harsh wind noise that often plagues phone mics. The plug-and-play functionality is a standout feature. Simply plug the receiver into the USB-C port, turn on the transmitter and it’s ready to go. No need for complicated pairing menus settings or fuss. The wireless connection is incredibly strong. I’ve walked around my garden and filmed at a distance and the audio has remained perfectly stable with no dropouts or crackling. The transmitter is compact and lightweight. It clips on easily and doesn’t tug at clothing and is small enough to be barely noticeable in videos. This microphone is perfect for on-the-go recording. It’s ideal for TikTok YouTube Shorts vlogs interviews and event recording making it much easier to create quick content. Overall, the BOYA BY-V10 is a fantastic affordable wireless microphone for the iPhone 15/16. It offers simple setup great audio and reliable performance making it a highly recommended choice for anyone looking for a portable microphone.

Pleasantly surprised by this little mic. Plugged the receiver into my phone, turned on the seperate mic and was recording within seconds. No fiddly pairing, no extra apps, just works. The sound quality is extremely good for something this size. Voices come through clearly and without any of that odd echo you sometimes get with cheaper gear. It also handles background noise fairly well, so you are not left editing out wind and passing traffic for hours. Range is better than expected. I wandered a good few metres away from the camera and it still picked up clean audio without any dropouts. Feels well made and the whole thing fits neatly into a bag or pocket. Ideal for vlogging, quick interviews or just getting better audio than your phone’s built in mic can manage. If you want something simple, portable and reliable, this is a good choice. No drama, no fuss, just does what it is meant to do.

Pretty good, can’t complain

So easy to use, every time. Just plug in the receiver, hold down the power button for 5 seconds on either of the mics and it connects automatically, immediately overriding your phone's in-built microphone. No need for apps or any set up. The sound quality is good. It's lightweight and compact.

Testing Testing one two. These things are sweet and a bargain. They work perfectly simple as that. Sounds great also.

This is a pretty good mic system for the price and the audio quality is good, although not broadcast quality, as you might expect. The biggest disappointment was that although the receiver works perfectly when plugged into the USB C port of my Android phone, or when connected to my PC; when I plug it into the USB C port on my DJI RC2 Drone controller it fails to switch on. The same problem occurs when using a DJI Pocket 2 camera. Whether this is a clever bit of DJI tech to force me to buy an (expensive) DJI mic system, or whether there is some other problem, I don't know. Perhaps someone from Boya can explain?

I used with a Samsung s20. I sometimes struggle to hear people at the end of the table in big meeting rooms. I don't need hearings aids yet but if my ears are blocked with hay-fever etc. I need some amplification. If its a hybrid meeting I can join on line using an owl set up. So I set out to try and find a sort of pocket owl that is small enough to pop on the table. It needed to be Omnidirectional to pick up the person speaking and less background Low latency so I know when there is a pause to speak and don't keep talking over people Block out my own voice, as the echo of my voice is distracting Transit into an earbud. There was nothing on the market that does this - please invent this, a hearing amplifier anyone struggling to hear can connect to in a meeting So until someone invents something this works. You need to download the app, the instructions don't tell you that. Plug in and but the mics on the table, near the sound. Multiple mics can be positioned on larger tables. Set to NR reduces all sound except the speakers plus it almost cancels out my own voice when I speak. Connect your head set and it works. The later more expensive models don't work as they see the transmitter as a headset and not a microphone and the speaker is blocked. I had to use bluebooth earbuds so there is some latency. I tried wired earbuds with a usb splitter but just got interference. I will keep working on that. My only negative is that it does not come with a charging case. Later models do but they have the headset problem. I also bought the boyamini for the charging case. Also great but portable and small enough to use in a pub etc.

Si bien seguramente gente con mayor conocimiento en audio podrán dar otras opiniones, se me hace de los mejores microfonos inalámbricos que he utilizado. No se nota ruido extra como estática, la espuma evita mucho que se escuche el aire o ruidos fuertes de una forma que corte el audio de la voz. Obviamente en un ambiente MUY ruidoso va a ser complicado que se escuche todo bien. Sin embargo hace un trabajo excepcional. El receptor como el microfono tienen un tamaño y peso, super cómodos. Pensaba que el largo del cable de carga podía ser un problema, pero en realidad no es algo que necesites traer contigo cargando de energía todo el tiempo, por la cantidad de horas que da cada carga para trabajar.

Me gustó que es muy fácil de usar y sin necesidad de instalar nada extra, se siente de buena calidad y se escuchan muy bien

Compatibile con Iphone, pratico e facile da usare, basta attaccare al telefono il ricevitore e accendere il pulsante ON sul microfono e la connessione è immediata. Ottima performance, audio buono anche a distanza, in situazioni esterne con rumore di fondo e ovviamente buono in situazioni da studio. Anche se stiamo parlando di una fascia amatoriale ha ottime caratteristiche per vlog, e utilizzo per i social. Ne ho provato tanti e per me è il migliore in rapporto alla qualità/prezzo.
