Great product! I have used them with Kindergarten students. Make sure you have a lot of dough (children love to mix colors) and artist's clay works well if you don't have time to make the insulating dough. Make sure you buy batteries because they are not included in the kit. The videos on the website are very helpful as well as packaged info. This is a good introduction. Eventually, you can source the materials from other vendors and make your own kits.

I've used this kit multiple times with 6th through 12th grades. Everyone loves Squishy Circuits! The components in the kit are very durable and the carry case makes it super easy to carry. I suggest keeping baby wipes handy. Cleaning the contacts on the battery packs and led bulbs makes them less likely to corrode.

The kits are wonderful for my classroom. Students are allowed hands on problem solving with this kit.

While I liked the kit when I first bought it, it has not held up well. I’ve used it about 15 times in the past year with the largest group being 20 Pre-school children. The battery packs have all cracked and the contacts pop out of the casings and are nearly impossible to get them to stay back in without needing 2 people to put batteries in. Shortly after the battery packs started to break the propellor blades have started to come apart as well. Unfortunately I can’t just buy a battery case or blade, I need to buy a whole kit again. The leads on the lights break off and I expect that, but have not been able to find the same colors to replace them with. Overall the kit has an awesome “wow” effect but just doesn’t hold up to being used a lot.
