Around the World in 80 Cocktails

This is a super fun book! It's a unique concept and makes a great gift. I bought for my mother-in-law who I have a hard time shopping for. But she loves to travel and party and is approaching a milestone birthday. It is full of interesting history, fun recipes, and full page photos with each country/recipe. It made an all-around great gift, paired with some cocktail glasses and accessories.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband who wanted to experiment more with the cocktails. Since we travelled a lot I figured it would serve as a fun memento to a few drinks we’ve had abroad. Absolutely love the history facts attached to either specific ingredients found in the cocktail, how the name came to be, or alcohol fun fact about that country. Some of the drinks have unique ingredients that you may not use often but are still fun to try, so that’s the only downfall (refer to pic of Martinez drink). A recommended in-text substitution would help but that’s nothing a quick Google search can’t fix. The cover is also really pretty and makes for a fun conversation piece. Very happy with the purchase overall.

Great gift

Creative book with yummy “sound sing” recipes. The only downside is that most of the recipes have really unique ingredients that you’d never have handy or want to invest in.

Love this little book! The artwork and history is fantastic. My husband and I are making one new cocktail every month and stocking up our bar cart with things we never heard of for drinks so delicious you wouldn't believe possible.

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic book! I bought it as a gift for my husband. The recipes are easy to follow (and delicious), and there are a few in here that I don’t think you’ll find anywhere else! The background info for each cocktail is phenomenal and the illustrations are gorgeous! The maps on the inside covers are a particularly nice touch too.

I got this book as a Christmas gift for a friend. The book is beautiful! Very vibrant illustrations and really fun and well rounded descriptions of each of the places it mentions. Recipes are straightforward. I’m almost jealous I didn’t get it for myself.

Such a fun cocktail book. Great for expanding your cocktail knowledge. The illustrations are super cute.
