I bought this SafeAMP UPS battery replacement for my APC unit (APCRBC124), and it has been excellent so far. Worked as advertised. Slotted it into my Back-UPS Pro 1000 and it showed it was at full charge. Left it plugged in with no load overnight, next day I plugged a small Vornado fan and set it to the low setting and the screen read 31 watts being used, and when unplugged it reads 22 watts being used and 205 minutes of runtime. Ran that set up until the battery died which took 6 hours and 30 minutes to kill it. So I would say it definitely works great!

Works well, but the fit is poor. Sides of my UPS have to bulge out to accommodate these batteries.

I thought I was going to have to e-waste my UPS, because the last time I looked at replacement batteries, they cost 80% of what the UPS did. But these off-brand batteries are inexpensive enough that it makes sense to swap them out and bring my UPS back to life, so I'm very happy about that.

The dimensions given (8"x6"x3") are correct, but slightly misleading. Had it truly been 3" wide across the entire length of the unit, it would not have fit my older APC unit, but the only part that's 3" wide is the row of 3 tabs down the center (which I assume are on the connector locking the two individual cells into the single unit that goes into the UPS). The remainder of the battery is 2.5" wide, which means it is precisely the same dimensions as the battery I was replacing and it fit perfectly. As others have mentioned, it's necessary to "train" the UPS so that it knows the capacity of the new battery (let it fully charge, put a load on it - I used a 200W incandescent light bulb - and unplug it from the wall until it runs down). I haven't been using it long enough to comment on lifespan and durability. If I see anything noteworthy I'll update this review in the future, but so far I'm completely happy and intend to buy another for a second older APC unit I have. It even has a slightly higher rated capacity (9 Ah vs 7 Ah) than the old battery.
