Received the scale quickly and the quality is very nice and works well. Scale is also accurate and simple to use. The smaller size makes this easy to use and also not get in the way.

Got my little scale today and was very pleased. It's accurate, easy to set up, easy to use, and will fit in my backpack/messenger bag/suitcase with no trouble. I literally pulled the battery protector tab out, put it on the floor, and used it right away.I'm on the road and would like to try to keep track of my weight - and gym scales at three different fitness centers was not the way to do it. This is. Lightweight and highly portable, it'll keep my bag from being overweight, at least.Wish I could give this as a stocking stuffer without totally making people mad. Still might work out as one, though - it is an attractive litte addition to the room. My current location is very....beige. The color makes a nice eye appealing splash in a sea of plain.

I am very pleased with this scale. I bought it because medical issues require that I track weigh changes closely and I did not want to curtail my love of travel. I used this scale at home for a few days alongside my normal, expensive and very accurate scale to test it out. It did weigh about a pound heavier, BUT it weighed the same pound heavier every single time so monitoring changes was the same on either scale. Took it on a 10 day international trip (removed the battery & put in checked luggage in the matching sleeve). It worked great. There is also room in the sleeve to slip a small notepad & pen for recording weight. Checked it against my home scale again when I returned and it was exactly the same as before the trip, so it stands up to travel. It is necessarily small and a bit tricky to balance on, but all I did was steady myself on something for a second then let go to get the reading, which is very fast.

Overall, very portable and reliable. This scale is 1.5 lbs off from my home scale. This is okay because when I checked it at home it weighed me 1.5 pounds heavier than my home scale, and upon returning home with the scale, it still was off by exactly 1.5 lbs. Would I like it to be the same as my home scale? Yes, of course! But the fact that it is consistently 1.5 pounds off makes me able to live with it. It is quite small, heavier than I would like — makes it more difficult to place my luggage in the overhead bin, but the pros outweigh the cons. I think I will ensure I have a replacement battery with me when I travel just in case because it take the dreaded button batteries that aren’t all that easy to find on vacation.

I purchased this scale because I travel for work and wanted to stick to my goals. It’s compact, travels well, and is accurate. I would recommend.

EDIT 5.5 years later: I still have this scale and it still works perfectly. I've only had to replace the battery once since I've owned it.I was researching scales to purchase for my home and was about to order the full size Newline scale when I saw this smaller one at the bottom of the page. In comparing them I saw that they were pretty much exactly the same except the size. Being that I haven't owned a scale because I don't like such an ugly big thing cluttering up my bathroom, this was the perfect solution. It looks nice and is small enough to tuck away in a cabinet.Upon receipt of this scale I was very impressed! Not only was it very affordable and available for purchase with Amazon Prime, so it arrived quickly - it looked great! I bought this expecting to get what I paid for, a little cheap scale that was (hopefully) accurate. But this thing feels like quality. It has that satisfying heft you feel when holding a well made product. The black is under a solid glass surface, adding to it's respectable appearance. I don't think I'll be tucking it away in a cabinet either. I actually opened it in the kitchen when it arrived, and just left it there on the kitchen floor in the corner. I haven't had an issue with using it either. It shows your weight quickly, always on the first try. The smaller size doesn't really affect anything by standing on it, just know that unless you're a small child, your entire foot won't fit on it while standing to get your weight.Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Mine stopped working last week. Just says ERR when I step onto it. It worked correctly when I was 60+ lbs heavier so it’s not a weight thing. It has a new battery so that isn’t it either.Then I thought, this thing old. How old? I bought it in December 2016. NINE YEARS of service. So it’s done it’s time and I’m going to replace it with another one of the same.The best part about it is that it tucks under the sink so I don’t see it every day. It’s there when I need it but out of sight, out of mine otherwise.TLDR; it’s a really good product with a very long life.

Don’t buy this! I don’t need a scale to be accurate, but I do need it to be consistent. I bought this to use on travel, and used it on 3 trips before giving up because it’s so inconsistent it’s completely useless. It’ll give you a range of 10lbs from 3 weigh-ins within 5 minutes, depending on where you place it. And even funnier - even if you place it in the same spot on the floor, your weight will drastically differ depending on how you place your feet. I want to return it but they won’t let me, please don’t waste your money.
