These worked really well for the purpose I used them for. We were sifting through sand to find fossils! They worked as expected! Would order again.

These sifters do what they are supposed to do, sift out dirt particles. The reason why I gave it four stars is that they are really small. Good for small amounts of dirt that needs sifting. I received four in a pack but it would be more useful to enlarge them and sell one or two instead of four small ones. These are too small for a garden but might be useful for housplant soils.

Seems well made haven't used yet by the touch and feel and look would recommend

Loved these little sifters. I took my three sons to a local river known for fossils and we scooped and sifted out quite a few keepers. Looking forward to our next trip!

These screens are hard to use because they are plastic. They're very hard to clean up and get the soil out of them and though the squares.

I burn wood in my house, and I've been sifting the wood ash to get the nails and other things that don't burn out from the ash.

I had to order a real sifter because these are too small and all the same size. Too much work because they always get clogged and I can only sift a small amount of soil at a time. Disappointing.

I make a lot of snitzels and the after a little the bread crumbs glup up and looks crap stuck to ya snitzels so I sieve the bread crumbs and this is perfect..

A palliative care project involves recycling used potting mix for reuse in growing native plants from seed, ranging from larger, hard acacia seeds to dust sized callistemon and melaleuca. Using basic, cheap items such as kitty litter tray and scoop with one of these 8" sieves, sun-dried mix was quickly reduced to the finer grade need for seedlings. Larger particles can be set aside for general use. All 4 sieves are the same size, with approx. 3mm holes. One could be drilled out to give a coarser mix with, say, a 5 or 6mm drill. The sieve is also useful for dusting a 3mm cover of mix over the seed, as required for propagation. A further use might be in re-sowing a chamomile lawn, with the tiny (7000 per gramme) seeds mixed with fine sand. Best of all, these small sifters can fill small hands, so that some might become grown-up green thumbs. If 4 are more than you need, pass one over the fence, and see what happens.

For the price we paid, we couldn't have purchased any better. Ebay, eat your heart out!
