Let me start by saying this is a very well-designed set. I found that not only did the parts connect well (almost identical to what you would get with a Lego set), but they were also well supported. I've built a few non-Lego sets and sometimes the designs are just bad, with unsupported pieces that are begging to fall off. That's not the case here - these pieces are well supported and stay put.One of the most important features of this set is the motor and the remote control - both work very well. Since the remote looks a lot like a Lego Powered Up remote, I'd expected the car to come with a Lego-style motor and hub, but that's not the case. The motor, batteries, and everything are incorporated into one chassis piece. I wish there were separate parts so I could later disassemble the set and reuse the motor elsewhere, but since it's so large, I think I'll keep this together as an R/C car. One feature that I do like about the chassis is that there the front wheels can be adjusted if the car isn't going straight when it should be. You simply adjust the little dial on the bottom of the car until it drives straight.As for assembly, that's where this set lost a star. It wasn't particularly difficult to assemble, but I really dislike that I need to dump out all the bags to build the set. Lego sets come with numbered bags and you only have to open one at a time; that makes building much simpler, especially when the set comes with a bunch of pieces all in the same color. Unfortunately with this set, you basically need to dump everything at once and sort through them as you go.Also, there were a few points in the instructions where they showed grayed out pieces already on the car and marked where to add new pieces, but some of those grayed out pieces weren't actually supposed to be there yet. It ultimately wasn't a big deal, but it did cause me to flip around in the instruction book a couple of times to make sure I didn't miss something.But those little gripes aside, this is a really good set. Considering the price and that it is a R/C powered set, this thing is great! I don't know of any comparable Lego set, but if they had one, I'd expect it to cost about three times what this one sells for. Because of all that, I would recommend this set.

I’ve been watching my nephew put this kit together and I’ve been very impressed with how well all the pieces go together - just like a more widely known plastic building block. But the kit also has very good instructions. They’re full of exploded views with arrows showing where pieces go and how they go together. They never get overly complicated, taking everything one piece at a time. This would be a fun kit even if it just sat there when you were finished. But we’re really looking forward to driving it around when it’s finished!

This car has dual mode control. You can use it with your phone or its control is for people over 6 years old, but I would recommend it for older people since some pieces are small, you can assemble it easily through the app and a video that will show you how to do it, I will have a good time waiting to assemble it

This is a great afternoon project for my 7 yr old. Instructions were pretty clear and wasn’t too complicated. Fun to be able to use the app to make it run after. Great value compto the name brand!
