Best salt substitute in the market for a salt replacement. Texture is like table salt, but again because it’s Potassium chloride it’s best in cooking and not on its own as it will taste bitter (nature of potassium chloride)

I bought this for a friend who has Meniere's disease and can consume very little sodium. Too much causes vertigo and tinnitus. Her food is very bland, but this salt substitute is a blessing. She's able to enjoy her meals now.

While browsing online for a salt substitute I came across this protect (Morton Salt substitute: sodium free, for all cooking, 31/8 ounces) and purchased it. As always, the delivery service was great. I am very pleased with my purchase. If you must use sodium free seasoning you may want to check out this product. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. So grateful that this is available here! For those on a sodium restricted diet, this still provides a close enough taste of salt to food.
