One reviewer said her 'diamonds' were plastic instead of glass. Did you receive glass or plastic?

GLASS. Maybe the item has changed, or maybe some people got plastic from a different seller; I don't know. But I do know that I just got a bagful of these from HansGo today — 2018, October 28 (Sunday delivery!)— and they are definitely GLASS, not plastic.

do the have holes at the tip?

Sorry to tell that these glass gems are just for filling the vases, makeup boxes or for centerpieces. They are not available to be a string of beads since no holes on their tips.

What type of glass is it? Borosilicate?

Our Clear Glass Diamonds are made from glasses, non-toxic and odorless.
