No real smell, I can tell it has the potential to work well on some clogs because when I pulled the tank to empty it after it sat for two days I saw some of the build up actually come out. Unfortunately, now the toilet won’t even slow drain and we haven’t used it for over 3 days straight to let it go down.. and nothing. Water just sits there now. So essentially it’s made my clog worse. HOWEVER… it’s a clog we’ve been battling from poor maintenance by a previous owner and now I guess I have to pay for a plumber instead. I wouldn’t say don’t buy it. TRY IT! The price isn’t break your bank to see if this product works for you.. it just unfortunately made my issue way worse since it won’t drain at all anymore after I poured it in. I have a weird pyramid clog or something from the previous owners… and I’m a first time 5th wheel owner trying to figure this all out. End of the day. Try it and see, because I feel like if I bought new or better maintained used, I’d keep this brand and their products for maintenance… just maybe not a fix all for very stuck clogs.

My experience with Clear-out, is it needs two treatments to clear a clog in my black tank. I live in my trailer full time. Each treatment needs 48 hrs to work. So, times two applications, thats 4-5 days to wait. This time, I used Clear-out and let it work for 2.5 days. The clog was stubborn. I paired this treatment with a Camco’s Swivel Stick and wha-la, Im in business. *My new routine will be to close the tank, add Uniques Digest-it and dump 3-5 days later. Secondly, I’ll attach my Camco Swivel Stick to clean out debris. Repeat! I recommend this for clogs, but not alone. Last year when this happened, I called Unique and they generously sent me a second bottle of Clear-out free. So the company is solid, but with each application taking 48 hrs, thats 4 days with a full tank. I recommend Unique, but get a Camden Swivel Stick too.

This is the best unclogger!!

I had hoped that this product would have unclogged the spray nozzle of my black tank sprayer. It did not. But, i have used Unique RV-Digest it for at least ten years and would not recommend anything else.

I was one of the unfortunates to end up with an incredibly stubborn poop pyramid in my 30 plus-year-old fifth wheel. This product did nothing. I left it in the tank for a good 72 hours and nothing. Well, nothing other than adding more liquid to my blocked tank. Because I had no idea when my black tank had been cleaned, if ever, I was willing to give anything a try. Quite frankly, the plunger is what worked far superior to any enzymatic, bacterial or mechanical product. Don't get me started on the swivel stik!

This was awsome it cleaned my tank perfectly. I always triple flush my tank after use, and this still removed alot. I left it for over 72h and had amazing results

Worked like a charm. Our trailer sits all year round as we don't travel with it. We had a pyramid plug. We let it sit for 5 days and the clog is gone. Will probably do this again at the end of the season.

This worked great. We had a blockage and there was nothing coming out of our black tank. Put this in, filled with water and a few days later there was no more blockage and it emptied easily.

It seems to have helped cleaning the sensors in the black water tank of our camping trailer. Previously, sensors were always indicating 3/4 full even if the tank was empty. I kept Clear-it in the tank with water for 4 full days. One day after I emptied the tank, sensors were back to one light only.

Follow directions on label. Longer it can sit in the black tank and disolve the contents, the better, but not less than 72 hours. I used product on a park model rv.
