Hillfarm Oils Rapeseed Oil, Extra Virgin Cold Pressed - 5L

I’ve been using this Hillfarm Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil - 5 Litre, Suitable for Cooking, Baking and Frying for quite awhile now, this is my 2nd 5lt bottle, I use it for most of my cooking Needs when frying, taste is great, cooks to very high heats (not that I do) cheaper to by via Amazon as p/p and price is higher if purchased directly from makers, it’s a very good quality product, next day delivery via Prime.

A top quality oil with a very high smoke point.This oil is better for you than olive oil and ticks all the boxes for being extremely versatile.Ads in the fact that it is home grown in the UK and you can't go wrong.I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a massive bottle. I like rapeseed oil so decided to buy in bulk.My plan was to decant into a more sensible sized bottle to have on the side. Well, the bottle is quite heavy, so got my husband to help. He held the smaller one and funnel and I poured... Turns out this is not easy. I am not sure what the problem is, but the oil does not pour nicely out of this big bottle. I have loads of other products that I do similar things with and have no issue, but this resulted in oil over me, the bottle and the floor.Not massive amounts but enough to make me question if it was worth the bulk buy given I have approx 4 litres left.Overall the oil is as expected and good quality, just a shame the bottle doesn't pour well.If you found this helpful please click yes

Its the first tome I have bought this type of oil, its more expensive than the supermarket brands but there is a reason, this oil in my opinion is far superior, it has a really nice mild nutty taste to it and it will be great in salads and so on, I used it last night to deep fry, and of all the things to deep fry first it was good old chips, and even though the oil has a nutty flavor it didn't spoil what I had fried, you get what you pay for and I am happy with this oil because I did get what I paid for

This oil is much more economical than the small supermarket bottles. Rapeseed oil is very resistant to breaking down when heated, unlike other types of oil, so is much healthier as a result. I've been using it for frying for a couple of years now. Tastes good too.

Lovely stuff. An improvement all round on the usual vegetable oils. I could wish that it was still supplied in the robust plastic containers, but, I suppose costs have to be kept down. I was lucky to hold on to one of the original heavy duty containers, which I clean out and re-use

Superb nutty, golden oil, this is a great price for a great product, I use daily for frying and salad dressing, and also feed to my horses, as it is great for helping their coats to look extra shiny!
