Elegant and challenging model with high-quality craftsmanship
This is an excellent model for anyone who enjoys detailed builds and a real challenge. It is well-designed and rewarding, but it requires patience and careful handling. The wooden pieces are high quality and do not break easily, but they are not meant for rough hands. If handled carelessly, parts can be damaged. This is not a toy, but a precision puzzle intended for adults or older kids who enjoy building and working with intricate details. The level of challenge is real and satisfying. I gave this kit to my daughter some time ago, and it is almost complete. The finished model looks elegant and visually impressive. I also inspected the internal mechanism, and it moves smoothly, which reflects good engineering and design. Overall, this kit matches its description perfectly. It is ideal for adults or older children with a knack for building, patience, and attention to detail. If you enjoy mechanical models and artistic puzzles, this is a very nice piece to build and display.

Unique Design, Great Quality, and similar to Adult Legos
Ordered this gift for my dad, who loves model kits and tinkering with his hands. It ended up being the perfect spark to reignite his old passion. It’s definitely a bit technical and not something you breeze through in an hour, but that’s exactly what made it so satisfying for him. The instructions were detailed, and while a few steps took a bit of puzzling out, he found the process really engaging. The quality was sublime. Everything felt well-cut and sturdy, with a precision that made it feel like a premium kit. He did mention that a couple of parts needed a steady hand and some extra care during assembly, but overall, the fit was smooth and satisfying. It’s made from wood, which gives it a really warm and natural look once it’s finished. As for the final model, the cello has a cool design and a surprising amount of detail that makes it feel more like a little sculpture than just a model. It now sits on a shelf in the living room and is a conversation starter for guests. It’s one of those pieces that feels both classic and creative, and it really stands out in the best way. I’d say this is best for someone who enjoys a challenge and likes working with their hands, definitely not a rush job or something for really young kids. This is best for hobbyists or anyone looking for a hands-on gift.

A wonderful experience
I personally love puzzles. I always have and I especially love music boxes. Putting them together seemed like a machine in heaven. Everything about this puzzle is beautiful. The design is elegant. The quality is excellent and it is well put together once everything is all altogether. Well, this would be a wonderful gift for any puzzle/music box lover. I’m also making it for my kid. Even painting it so that way it makes it a little bit more personal. All around it is a great gift whether it be for yourself, someone you know who loves to put things together, or even a gift for someone else like what I’m doing. Obviously, even though this is made of wood, you still should be careful and take different precautions when we’re moving pieces from the boards, but you do deal with small pieces which might be difficult for people with no steady hands overall I love the experience and their other products as I have built a few others with just as much enjoyment.

Need great eye sight and nimble fingers
Great puzzle. It is both beautiful and frustrating. Got this as a gift for my 69 y/o father who was recovering from back surgery and loves puzzles. He was excited by the prospect of putting it together. But, It is mot for those who do not have nimble fingers or great vision. The pieces are incredibly small and so are the instructions. He has already broken some of the pieces but they are laser cut so there may be no replacing them. He is currently working on making sure the celo bow moves. Per him it takes much longer than expected and is a very delicate puzzle. Great gift but very frustrating for those without nimble fingers

Challenging but fun
So much fun to put together, hard leave it aside once you start. Good thing that there are some spare parts bc pieces break easily. Very challenging but fun.

Instructions are just not clear. If this is your first time with wooden puzzles - find another brand. Design is nice.

I’ve been pleased with the ROKR products we have built, and this is no exception. The craftsmanship is excellent, and they have plenty of extra pieces for things that might break or get lost. My 9-year-old daughter is very pleased with her cello. It occupied her for hours on Christmas Day, and she was exposed to engineering and construction principals.

3rd product from ROKR(and/or Robotime?) I've built, and haven't been disappointed yet. The wood, even though it is plywood, gives a good feel compared to plastic toys. Pressure fits and screws are well made with good tolerances, but because there aren't any built-in threads, feels a bit easy to overscrew. Careful hands are required, and hands that don't mind being roughed up a bit. Not as mechanically interesting as the pendulum clock, but very eye-pleasing.
