High Quality. Lots of entertainment in a compact convenient package.
Bring this to a party, and never have to worry about bringing the wrong game.I got Game Changer out of curiosity, since my friends and family love board games.Small package doesn't take up too much room, but comes jam packed with games!Fun/density ratio replaces a bunch of boxes on your shelf. My favorite details so far:The game board is reversible. So cool. The beautiful high quality artwork. The spinner on the front of the box is a fun/easy way to pick a game.Would recommend to anyone looking to explore new games for kids and adults.Or anyone who likes to play a variety of games, but doesn't want 15 different boxes on taking up space on their shelves.Best part is, if people want to switch games, there's no big cleanup and set up process.Just spin the wheel and maybe flip the game board. Super practical and portable. But Jam packed with fun games.

Perfect all in one, fun in a box for a vacation or afternoon indoors
I received this game set specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please find the enclosed pictures.)Summary: Game Changer is a game for 2-7 players, ages 8+, and the 15 games included range in time from 5-20 minutes (though some could take a little longer, depending on how much strategizing players do between turns). Game Changer is distributed by LongView Labs, a New Zealand, game company.Rather than go into detail with all fifteen included games, I will give a feel for the types of games and some of the overall aspects of this game set.The 15 games are about as different as you could imagine a set of games to be, ranging from the raucous "action game" that involves physically tapping things before your opponents to the storytelling game that involves making up stories and using your imagination. There are also strategy games like abstract game and the bidding game. You get the idea. All of the games are relatively easy to learn, think 15-20 minutes to understand the basics. Many of the games take a bit longer to master, giving the set a high replay value. All in all, this is a fun, varied game set, and it is perfect if you are packing one game to take on vacation with the tween crowd. I highly recommend it.On to the Dr Games’ Criteria …GO/NO GO Criterion• Complexity: (GO): The 15 games vary in complexity, but none of these are that difficult. Most 8-12 year olds will be able to pick up the rules fairly quickly. One positive note, the illustrations and the game pieces would lead you to believe that this is aimed at younger kids, but there is a fair amount of strategy in many of the games, and parents and guardians will also be challenged and have fun playing these games.• Balanced: (GO) All the games are balanced.• Chance (GO) Some of the games involve a lot of chance, and some of the games involve mostly strategy. Given that the box is a mix of 15 separate games, there is something for every taste here.• Clarity: (GO) The rules are clear. That said, it is worth the effort to go through a sample game or two before bringing in the younger players as these games will be new to most of them.• Reasonable Time: (GO) The rules say 5-20 minutes, and the five minute game is truly a five minute game. Some of the 20 minute games can go longer if players are spending some time thinking about future moves.Bonus Criteria• Social: The games vary a great deal in level of social interaction. The storytelling game is all about being social. The dice game is less social, and the bidding game and bluffing game involve social strategy.• Unique/Interesting Mechanics: I love that the components for the games overlap with several games at a time. Very clever!• Informed: Not so much with this game.• Rewards Throughout: It depends on the game, but yes, for most of them.

There's a lot here and it can seem daunting, but it's all fairly simple
Oh boy there's a lot here to unpack. I guess that's good for a 15 games in one box setup! The designers I feel did a very good job and much due diligence to craft very simple and archetypal games. Not every game uses all the included pieces and some are used in only a single game but several cards are used in multiple games and are printed with more information than is needed for any one game. The instructions are /great/ at specifying what area of the multi-purpose cards you're supposed to focus on for the game at hand. Unboxing it and at first glance I was worried about this but after reading through the instructions for each game any and all confusion was gone. The spin wheel on the box cover doesn't spin though. ;-(Each game only needs two pages to give instruction, introduction, and example play. Also, each game ONLY needs two pages. The rules are all super simple, specifically for the genre of game and they do an excellent job with compartmentalizing the info for each game and still following a consistent format across every game. It's really good. I've read a TON of board game instructions and these are just plain good. The games themselves? Eeeeeeh, not as fun as "full" games of the categories would be and are, but they're entertaining enough to not make them awful to play. If you have likes/dislikes of genres, this won't likely change those. It's really easy for me to recommend this to people who don't play a lot of games or want to get more people around them interested. It won't charm people like a truly classic game would but it present a very low bar for entry for newer and/or younger players.
