A great book - easy to follow - combined with elliott wave principle you will be on to a winner

I am studying a range of books on trading, particularly in the use of the Elliott Wave Principle. The price charts in "Elliot Wave Trading" combined with the authors' detailed Elliott Wave analyses and trading notes are a breath of fresh air. The authors have even gone to the trouble of listing (in tables) fibonacci ratios for various wave relationships. In addition, the price charts with added copious notes are large and easy to read. This paperback is well worth the money. Excellent book!

this isnt a great introductory text, but it is very usefull to progress once you have read Jarrod Sanders book on the subject of EW

Good reading

This is an excellent introduction to the Elliot Wave principal. The authors explain everything in simple English so you don't need a background in finance or math to understand what they're talking about. There are a lot of examples in the book, mostly for stocks but a few relating to forex too. The book also covers MACD and Fib tools which are very useful. The only thing I could fault with this book is that they don't use the standard red/green candle sticks, instead they use bars which aren't as easy to read. Overall, great introduction to the Elliot Wave principal but a bit overpriced!

This book purely about trading using EW. It explains very little what are Elliot waves are (a small chapter at the end of the book). It would be better if they started with that chapter and expanded before introducing more difficult concepts. I would not recommend to someone who wants to improve the recognition of different EW types and trading according to them. Found better resource for free online. If Amazon would include the preview of the book I would definitely not buy it. I can’t say it is for professional readers either as entry and exit positions are obvious.

Very good book and beautifully explained.

I had long standing questions about how analysts of elliott wave international( Jeffery Kennedy and wayne gorman in this case) do there step by step deduction on arriving to a comfortable count and this book just answers that. Easy to read as less text and more charts with counts. Takes you step by step to arrive at count. Especially clarifies( live trading examples) on some key text given in Elliott wave principle such as " Ending diagonal in Wave C" how to recognize it and trade it and also I liked the example given on how to trade a triangle? This is very unique and never seen before. I have been in and out subscriber of their monthly newsletter and I always has this question" How did this guy arrived to this count" as this is shortcoming of their monthly newsletter, they just give the count and don't explain it. This book answers and clarifies logic and reasoning behind arriving at various kinds of count.

Quite good as a study book. A bit short for the price.

En analyse technique des marchés financiers, cette méthode est souvent décriée à cause de sa complexité. J'avais vite abandonné son étude car je suis trader court terme et faire des décomptes sur du 5 minutes relève de l'exploit. Ce livre est très bien conçu car il explique parfaitement l'avancée d'un décompte en fonction de la progression des prix de l'actif et comment il est possible de prendre une position avec objectif et niveau d'invalidation. Le format est idéal pour la lecture des graphiques qui sont d'une bonne taille avec un impression de qualité. Pour ceux qui ne sont pas à l'aise avec l'anglais, le vocabulaire est simple et les commentaires sont limités au strict nécessaire. Les graphiques disent tout. Un rappel à la fin de toutes les règles Elliottistes est très bien fait. Je le recommande vivement à toute personne s'intéressant à cette technique, bien plus facile et concret que celui de Prechter.
