Fodor's Essential Norway (Full-color Travel Guide)

Excellent tour book of Norway. Went on a 14 cruise up and back the coast and this book was right on. Excellent descriptions of what to see, where to stay, and restaurants.

Excellent for planning my trip!

I've been using Fodor's Guides for over 30 years and am never disappointed. This little book on Norway is no exception. It has a lot of very useful information packed in it, as well as a little tear-out map. Both the book and the map are essentials to bring on vacation.I was very surprised to see that the writeup on the Viking Ship Museum, one of Oslo's Major attractions, made no mention of the fact that it is, in fact, closed until 2026 for renovations. This underscores the need to double check everything on the internet before making firm plans.
