Always loved this CD.I just bought it again after a hundred years.Mine has a defect on track 3 during the guitar solo.Anyone else experience this?Amazon is sending me a new one.Definitely don’t go without this album!

I kind back into the Stray Cats and Rockabilly from Brian Sezter's swing projects. The man is one of greats of Rock and Roll. Like John Foggerty, Sezter bleed pure back to basic rock and roll. The style may have been around since the 50's, but the Stray Cats created a update sound that will never go out of style. This album has all the hits as well as a few lessor known gems and some great live cuts. This album is a great place to start for anyone looking to learn more about Rockabilly and\or the Stray Cats. Would had loved to seen them live is some local juke joint, but at least they are well captured on this great collection.

What can I say? Setzer is a musical genius. Just saw him live a couple of weeks ago. He is a gifted musician and songwriter and is highly underrated. This is a classic CD that belongs in any collection.

Everything you want, plus a few bonus tracks. Great recordings, excellent price. If you buy this, also get the BSO Live CD's, they also do big band versions of all the stray cat hits, and it is refreshing to hear new arrangements for already classic songs.

This is a bit different than a lot of music from the 80s. I think it can be classified as rockabilly..., but it's unique. I like the sound. Lots of energy. Sounds like it's from decades older than it is though. Look closely at the cover and you'll see a young Brian Setzer.

I ordered this CD for a Christmas gift. The recipiant plays guitar and is always looking for something new to learn. He heard one of the Stray Cat songs and thought that he would like to try to learn how to play it. He thinks the CD is great just to listen to but also now knows what the songs are supposed to sound like. Thanks for helping me make his Christmas and guitar playing even better.

I already knew this was good, so that's why I bougt it. I was just having trouble finding it, but you guys came though.

This was an Easter gift for my 4 year old Grand-daughter.....she loves "The Stray Cat Strut". Definitely an oldie but a goodie.
