COBB Lid Extension

Fantastic for cooking chicken in your Cobb. You get a massively tasty chicken by standing it on its feet with this set. The juices remain in tact and help the cooking process. I have found that if you put a little olive oil on the feet and surround then with some tin foil that prevents the bone that is on contact with the hot plate charring. If you are thinking of getting this set for your cob to roast meat - go for it, you'll be happy that you did.

Does exactly what is says on the box. Put your chicken on the frame light the Cobb put beer in the well, put the lid on. 90 minutes later, or there abouts beautiful moist, tasty roasted Chicken. It is well worth using the Cobb liners makes cleaning much easier.

Well made - a bit expensive for the joy of being able to do a beer chicken though, hence the 4 star only.

This is a great addition to the cobb, being able to cook a whole chicken but also larger cuts of meat

This raises the lid on the Cobb for cooking tall things. It is high quality and can be stored in the Cobb’s bag. The only problem is the chicken cooker only works with a small chicken as the extension does not give enough room for a vertical chicken.

Hähnchen aufstecken, anheizen, Deckel drauf und nach 1 Stunde ist es knusprig braun und saftig! Die Hähnchenhalterung ist genial einfach konstruiert und durchgehend aus Edelstahl. Einfachst zu reinigen, platzsparend aufzubewahren und es kann im Gegensatz zu ähnlichen Produkten auch bei intensivstem Sauberscheuern kein Lack abplatzen.

The Cobb is an excellent portable charcoal BBQ. With this extension I can use a up the behind beer can chicken stand and roast a wonderful crispy skin chicken. Brine the chicken first. Coat with seasonings. I do not inject the chicken but I've tasted several and like them as well. This extension fits well. It is made of the same stainless steel as the main unit. This should have come in the box with the Cobb. Since Cobb is now no longer in business if you own one and do not have an extension, better grab one soon.
