The strimmer I have owned. Easy to assemble and light to use. Good quality Battery life is good Did quite a bit of my large garden before needing to charge This was recommended to me by a friend I will highly recommend

After the slew of negativity and blade breaking reviews I almost did not buy this. Glad I did, I got the nearly new unit at near half price. It is light, battery charges quickly and the power is real for grass, nettles, weeds and handles thin stems. Perfectly good for garden tidying, not suited for heavy duty undergrowth clearing. It is not too noisy and the plastic blades are easy to fit and last ok, I’m 40 minutes in and >75% of the blade is still there. Hit hard surfaces the blade will wear out quicker, use it as intended and it is way better that the old spool and line design.

Had a battery Flymo strimmer for over 15 years. Battery charge became inconsistent and plastic protection plate for spool deteriorated and kept falling off. Unfortunately couldn’t get a replacement part so bought one with metal blades and metal disc cutter but couldn’t get on with it. After much deliberation decided to revert back to a Flymo. This is bulky but lightweight and easy to lift. Not difficult to assemble. Easy to use as a strimmer. Previous reviews had said the wheel guide didn’t move freely when edging and I found this to be the case. Tends to stick and as a result getting clean edges where you want them can be a challenge and my main downside. I am hoping the more I use it the easier it will become to use.

Great cordless strimmer. Good quality. My first battery failed but no hassle getting a replacement , which has so far worked fine. Lightweight and easy to use,edges lawns brilliantly.

This is amazing, we have a oval shaped lawn surrounded by small stones and although it looks really lovely it has been such a challenge to keep the edges sharpe and looking nice as it was taking me ages to do it with hand sheers or the edging spade, this is AMAZING 🤩 I can do it sooooo quickly now with the rolling wheel and the stones being 1” away isn’t an issue, takes a bit of getting used to as to where the cutting is taking place and what angle is best to hold it but I soon had it sussed after one lap of the edge. Perfect edges every time now and done so easily and perfect lines. Highly recommend

I would love to say this was a brilliant strimmer because it set out to be my old Flymo strimmer on steroids. It would have been the third Flymo strimmer I have had in 15 years. But it never got the chance to strim a single blade of grass because the grey roller wouldn't roll. It was tight around the neck of the strimmer and wouldn't move. I returned the first (not bought through Amazon) and bought the replacement through Amazon. Same fault. Looks like it was from the same batch. So while I think it would have been a lovely machine, check that the grey roller actually rolls before you assemble anything else. Once assembled, you can't dissassemble. And I hope it works for you because I think it would have been awesome. PS I bought another Flymo but an older model.

As a woman was concerned someone had written in a review they found it heavy?? this one is far lighter than the older flymo model so pleased i decided to go ahead and order this. Only thing I am finding a bit harder is , you have to hold the switch to keep it going whereas on the older model you could let it go and it would not stop, but I am getting used to it, I have a large garden so I do the first half one day and then do the other half another day. I also use it to strim down weeds and long grasses in flower beds. Would recommend.
