Apple Mid 2017 MacBook Pro with 2.3GHz Intel Core i5, 13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Silver (Renewed)

I love this computer, I got it in the mail I was a little bit worried that I would get a bad computer but I’m very satisfied. On the other hand it did not come with a Touch Bar like the picture showed I’m fine with it though the computer has a good battery doesn’t lag and the computer almost looked new… there is a few scratches but I’m so happy with this computer that it doesn’t matter to me. Super easy to use. The delivery was super fast. Great computer for the price. The screen resolution is great I love how it looks.

They replaced the ssd with an old HD making the laptop very slow. The leyboard was very damage. Battery Wille not hold a charle for more than 10 minutes. Its affordable however not recomended.

MacBooks are always tricky at first and the one shift key is a little touchy, but overall this MacBook Pro is awesome for the price. Perfect for those who want a MacBook, but don’t want to pay the full price.

This is the first Apple computer that I have ever owned/purchased. Item arrived safely packaged 2 days after ordering with no apparent damage due to shipping. Seems to function as it should with no notable damage on the outside shell of the computer except for a few minor dings and scratches that you have to look for to notice. No issues with the keyboard function so far either. The only issue immediately apparent upon booting up the computer was that it is saying "Service Recommended" for the battery, even though it shows only around 250 cycles and it drains very quickly when it is not plugged in. It seems cheap and easy enough to replace the battery yourself as opposed to bringing it to Apple for hundreds of dollars, but obviously not everyone would be comfortable attempting this so take that into account when deciding if you should purchase a used Macbook. So far, that is my only complaint but I've had the computer for less than 24 hours at the time of this review. Will update as needed if issues arise.

i personally would not recommend buying this product, when i got mine i was super excited to set it up and use it i’ve always wanted a macbook, it kept showing me a screen about installing a disk and whenever i’d try to install said disk it would not let me. i let my neighbor that works on computers and builds them try to fix it for over 24 hours he could not figure it out either the thing just did not work or was not wiped properly.

The package came quickly but this is NOT a Mac book. The keys have stickers on them to denote the key, the log in is ANCIENT. There is NO TOUCHBAR although this version of the computer should come with one!Of course there are scratches, I expected that much from a refurbished product.Good value for a knock off but, it’s not a genuine Mac book.

Def worth it!! My MacBook is in perfect condition, no scratches or anything, and works GREAT! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

I ordered this as a replacement for a renewed 8MB MacBook Air I ordered from a different seller that wasn't powerful enough for my needs. While the Air was received in perfect condition and the battery worked well, this MacBook Pro was in slightly less-perfect but still excellent physical condition but the battery status was "Service battery" with an exclamation icon. The unit operated anywhere between 0 seconds and 5 minutes on battery before shutting off. I have shipped it back as a return for another and will update the review when I receive the replacement. It is hit or miss whether you will receive a unit with a working battery. They clearly do not test it when they claim it is "renewed" and "guarantee" at least 80% of original battery life.Update: Replacement Mac works well. While the screen is in excellent condition and the battery has 299 cycles on it and powers fine, the case condition is obviously in the "Acceptable" category. There is a small gouge above the F2 key visible from several feet away (small - not a problem) and 3 dents on the bottom of the case visible from way more than 12 inches. 2 of the dents are very large and visible from across the room. This Mac has been dropped several times. Given that the top of the case and screen are excellent, averaging the condition to "Good" would have been reasonable.I am happy with the replacement unit. The Retina screen, faster processor, more memory, and better speakers make it a no-brainer upgrade over the Air for the extra money. It is physically smaller than the Air also, despite the same size screen and keyboard, with less wasted space around the edges. I'm only upping it to 3 stars (from initial 1) because the seller isn't doing its job of testing and rating the units.During the return process, I realized that Amazon "Renewed" has different sellers. They do not come from Amazon. The Air was from "Certified Resellers" and was perfect. A sample of one doesn't guarantee anything, of course, so it may be hit or miss. This Pro is from "All Out Apple", and they do a really bad job of checking the battery and looking at the case when rating the unit. At least "Renewed" guarantees you a replacement for 90 days.
