Does the trick
Feels waxy. Took a while to fit it on properly, since we'd never opened an XBox controller before. The plates that connect to the battery must slide in just so, or it won't work. Anyway...third time's the charm. Works fine now. But wouldn't you know it, my son wants a Minecraft creeper faceplate now! Aarghh!

Broke my controller
I installed this and it didn't work so i went back to my old controller and its broken it, I now get a weird thing where if i click up, it will go up for about 2 seconds longer then i pressed it. Waste of a controller.

Ok but not a perfect fit
Not the best of fit but not bad considering it was less than £8. Where the it clips onto the connecting piece underneath at the top (looking top down) is where the plastic connectors werent physically there so it doesnt sit flush. All in all its ok.

Another good product
Not used this one yet, but it looks good quality. I've bought many of this and I would definitely buy again from this seller.

Looks fantastic.
Good price for what you get and it looks really sharp.Wish it came with a little plastic pry-bar to help with installation (removing the existing face plate, mostly) but not the end of the world.I'd recommend searching for "nylon pry tool" and buying a small set of plastic electronics pry tools for about $4-5 to go with this, and keeping it for future uses. It's also handy for replacing phone screens, I just didn't happen to have one on me and made due with makeshift tools.

Leider passte die Topplate nicht auf meinen Controller. Sie war etwas kleiner als das Original.Evtl nur ein Einzelfall bei mir.

Fantastic quality
Really happy with this purchase. My only gripe is that the areas where the screws go into are not already threaded. The rest is great though. Very good quality!
