Good Fluid Video Head
Good quality tripod fluid video head from Smallrig, this is a solid and durable video head made from very good materials. The video head is very lightweight and small it does its job and it does it very well the panning is very smooth which is exactly what you want .All the locking knobs are precise when you lock it in your desired position it stays in that exact position no slight adjustments when locking it which I have had in other video/ball heads. The handle has a nice foam grip and the handle can be extended slightly which are nice touchesI have two grumbles with this product the first is with the level bubble where it is positioned you can’t really look straight down at it and see if the bubble is in the centre you have to look at it at a bit of an angle and when I do this I personally struggle to see if the bubble is in the centre maybe in time I will get use to this.My second grumble is with the levelling base first I loved this idea but as I started to use it I soon realised I was not disliked it when it comes to trying to centre the base I would have it in what I thought is the correct position, I would then check my camera levelling system and shows as being centred BUT when I rotate the camera to pan, the camera levelling would start to change and not be centred the more I panned around the more it would become more uncentered not by a huge amount but enough to make me think if I should readjust again. My tripod has its now level bubble and this shows it is centred and I tried a different tripod and have the same thing happen so I am not sure if this is happening due to the base plate not being fully centred or me not being able to look at the level bubble straight down to see if it is centred properly. So if you are planning on doing panning shots you may have to keep this in mind you can fix this is post by cropping in just a tiny bit.Overall I am happy with the Smallrig tripod fluid video head.

Well-built
I've been dabbling in videography for some time now and always felt something was missing. Cue this tripod head. The fluidity and stability it brings to my shots are unparalleled. The quick release plate and adjustable handle make switching angles and positions a cinch. And that leveling base? It's like having a built-in spirit level for my camera. No more wonky horizons, thank you very much! Though not the lightest, the quality and results make it worth carrying. Five stars from me.
