Durable toy. Our son drops is by accident on the floor all the time, and it hasn’t broke yet. Very durable for a toddler

I love this little train. I especially love that it fits on the foldable Melissa and Doug train set.-PERFECT.SLIGHT PROBLEM.- although it is cool that the dirt and crystal come off-it's kind of counterintuitive since it's a battery train so you're not really meant to be playing with the merchandise...My toddler gets quite frustrated because he wants to take the dirt and crystal off constantly but also wants the train to go, and he can't quite fully operate the switch. and it's a little to fast for him to do while it's moving...sooo maybe save the removable stuff for the non battery toys, and let the battery toys work for themselves- maybe instead you could make the crystal light up instead of removable.anyways that's just my 2 cents.it's a nice toy.

If you have a little one who loves trains, these motorized Thomas and Friends are great. I like these better versus the classic wooden trains. They are cheaper, larger, and don't have the magnets to worry about. They do require batteries and do NOT fit well on a standard wooden track. I would recommend purchasing the tracks that go to the motorized trains.

My grandson absolutely loved this! This was one of the few that he didn't have. It was a little more expensive than finding it another retail store, but it was worth it because he absolutely loves this! It took a little while to get here but when it finally did it was well worth the wait.

Updating to add:This train works great on Fisher Price tracks. We didn't have that kind until recently, so I didn't realize those are the tracks it's meant for. I updated my rating from 3 to 5 stars since the initial review was based off of using it on a different brand of Thomas tracks.Original review:There is a reason this train is so affordable compared to the other Thomas trains. It doesn't work well. It gets stuck at almost every connection point in the tracks. You can give it tap and it will go but it just gets stuck again. I think the issue is that the front wheels are too big and the power is coming from the back wheels. When the front wheels hit a place where the track pieces connect the back wheels lift up off the track and there is no traction, so the train gets stuck. It frustrates my 3yo but he's already played with the train so I'm not going to take it away from him to return it.

Very nice toy you get a free Percy with no details and a new face and you get a regular cargo with a cover and you get Bruno all in one Bruno does get stuck on things a lot being so big tho

the cover on one of the cars doesn't snap on so falls off easily but otherwise its very good. on fourth set of batteries after one week. got lots of miles on it!
