This is not only a dictionary for students but it can help writers find perfect expressions that will help illuminate their writing. One great advantage is that the cd provided does not have to be placed into the drive whenever the dictionary is in use. Simply install and its always ready for use, which is great. It will be a wonderful addition to anyone's home library. In my opinion the publisher should take the word 'students' out of the title.

It is a useful book, especially for international students whose daily job is writing in an English way. It lists out the most possible collocations for students of any level (most helpful to undergraduates I think). I am hoping there will be more examples if a revised version is in the pipeline.

This dictionary should be in every household, but I especially recommend it to any student of English as a foreign language from levels B2 to C2. It is a very helpful tool when writing essays or compositions. You don't know which verb or preposition goes with a certain name? I'm pretty sure you will find it in the Oxford Collocations Dictionary.

I would be without this dictionary any more , helps a lot improving my second language

Absolutely amazing! The CD that comes along with the dictionary is extremely useful since you can install it on your computer and easily browse through the whole dictionary and even do some Collocations exercises also available in the mid-section of the dictionary with some 10-20 dedicated pages.

As the title suggested - I find this dictionary really helpful but feel frustrated why there's no newer edition of it...

This is indeed what I needed for my personal use as well as for my lessons at school as I am an English teacher. I recommend this dictionoary not only for those who are not of mother tongue, but also for those who have English as mother tongue.
