It has many uses
I know this item will work for making stencils but I used it to replace the plastic material that was cracking in my lighted outdoor figures. I was able to color it with StazOn ink pads. It worked great for this.

Great sheets but not for a cricut air.
I bought these to make stencils for cookie decorating! They are great sheets but my cricut air wouldn’t cut them well. I tried different settings for over 2 weeks trying to get good cuts and they were never consistent so I gave up!

Sturdy Mylar, good for stencils
it was a little thick for my cricut. I had to use the specialty material setting for it to cut through, and it had to make multiple passes, but the sturdiness is also good for longevity of a stencil, so it seems like a good trade off.
