Excellent Value
I bought the 80x160cm version of the desk, and it came one week earlier than the expected delivery date.I wasn't expecting much for the sale price of around £200, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Despite the chipboard top looking very thin when I unpacked the box, it is actually extremely strong due to the sheer number of supporting components you attach. The motor works brilliantly and it seems to have no issues in supporting the weight of my relatively heavy gaming PC along with two 27" monitors (one of which has a very heavy metal stand).I built it alone and it was relatively straightforward, but I would probably recommend that two people complete the assembly if at all possible as certain elements only felt possible to do on my own due to being 6"4 with a wide arm span. There is a small amount of flex when putting weight on the edge of the desk, but nothing that should be too concerning, especially for the price. I would hesitate to try and install monitor arms on the desk though because I wouldn't trust the strength of the desk itself to hold that amount of weight on the outside edge for a sustained amount of time.Unless you are willing to spend £350+ on a standing desk, you will be hard pushed to find a product of better value and build quality. I would whole-heartedly recommend this for people working from home, or looking for a little more space for a muti-display setup. I have given this five stars despite having a few gripes because I honestly don't think anything more can be expected at this price point. Good job Devoko!

Bit of a nightmare to get the driveshaft fitted.... instructions could be better.
I initially submitted a very scathing review of this product but on reflection and two weeks use, I have decided to revise my view. This is in part due to a bit of an over reaction on my part when things didn’t go to plan and also because having complained bitterly to the supplier, I had a very good customer service experience.First of all the packaging was very good indeed and protected each component very well. This included the desktop which came in for parts and needed to be fitted together, this was not in my opinion ideal, however having been using the desk for a couple of weeks now, I hardly notice the fact that it is not one single piece of wood.I did find construction of the legs and underframe a little trickier than I had hoped. Close attention must be paid to the instructions in order to get this right first time. The main issue for me was fitting the driveshaft from the motorised end to the nonmotorised end, the motorised end has a captive hexagonal spindle which must be attached to a hollow rod and a noncaptive spindle for insertion on the other end. The issue I had here was that on each end of the hollow rod is a keyed plastic insert into which the two spindle bolts must fit in order for the motorised end and spindle bolt to turn the nonmotorised end and therefore raise both ends of the desk simultaneously. The issue I had was at the nonmotorised end wherein if I managed to get the hexagonal spindle bolt into the keyed plastic part and then into the connecting rod getting the hexagonal bolt into the receiving point is very difficult. The spindle bolt being hexagonal has to fit exactly into the receiving point. If this is not turned to allow it to fit properly , construction is very difficult. It’s difficult to turn the receiving part in order to allow the bolt to fit in both ends ( the keyed plastic part and rod and the hex nut receiver) and indeed I have suggested to the supplier that a key needs to be provided to allow that to happen. Once I had overcome this issue by plugging the unit in partly inserting the hexagonal bolt into the receiving point, and actually raising the desk slightly to allow the receiving nut to turn correctly so that the spindle bolt could be properly fitted. This unfortunately has the effect of raising the legs to slightly different heights and thereby give me a very tilted desk. I was able to remedy this with some effort. The tools and bolts etc are good quality. The parts seem good quality. The instructions however are not very clear. There is reference to a “Card Slot” . This actually refers to the keyed plastic insert one of each goes into either end of the connecting rod. It is advisable to have on hand a strong pair of grips or other means of turning the receiving nut at the non motorised end so that both the keyed plastic insert that receives one end of the spindle bolt and the receiving nut on the desk leg can be aligned and properly connected.Having used the desk now for a couple of weeks I am pleased with the purchase.

It's okay, but not great!!
Overall, the desk goes up and down as it needs to. To be honest, throughout the entire experience of putting this together, the control options to go up and down easily is the best part.it takes 4 x pieces to put the table top together, easily could have been done with 2 pieces. They didn't connect together well, which annoyed me straight away, along with the quality of the wood. Some holes did not match the instructions which lead to a screw going through the wood and creating a massive hole/chip on the desktop (top side). Either way, I needed to push on as I needed a desk to work and I had spent a lot of money getting this desk. In addition, I had already thrown my old and much better quality desk away.Instructions - Not great, but workable. User experience was poor.Quality - NOT GREAT - wood feels cheapSturdiness - Out of 10, this is a 5. Every move, the table is shaking. The table works and I'm using it now while i write this. However, I'm reminded that the desktop is shaking and further reminded of the build experience. Wayfair and IKEA tables I have built have been better quality and much better instructions.

Good value, sturdy standing desk.
It’s very sturdy, wouldn’t notice that it’s a splice board - which was the only thing I felt unsure about when ordering, but previous reviews said it was a sturdy construction and it absolutely is.I built it alone and found the instructions alright to follow. The only thing I would say is that the parts and the desk itself are very heavy so might be worth getting another pair of hands if that’s a problem.Very happy with it and the walnut top I chose looks very nice and elegant too

It was a great experience
It is a great table. Sturdy and solid with great space to easily accommodate two machines and a printer with a lot of space for the rest of the stuff. I always give a review after a few months just to make sure that things are exactly what is mentioned.Definitely recommend it to everyone.
