Front Runner Wolf Pack Pro (Wolf Pack Pro Hi-Lid Kit)

Like others have commented, it is hard to close, especially at first which is annoying. I was worried about breaking the clips but figured out that I just need to apply a little bit of force on the top of the lid and it snaps shut. I assume there is a break in period and will close easier with more use. I've had it for about a month so far.It serves the purpose I need it for and aside from the fitment issue, it's a worthwhile purchase.*Updated review. Added a star. After having used the lid for several months, it closes easier, still requires some pressure on the top but I don't have to force it*

So pissed at Front Runner and Dometic. The normal lids work great. I ordered 4 hi lids for my wolf pack pros, and none of the 4 fit. I'm talking about 185 lbs resting on the top and trying to get the latch to close WITH A F-ING HAMMER! Still would not close. I actually injured myself. Called Front Runner, "Yeah, we've been having a lot of complaints. Just try really hard to close them, then just leave the latched in full sunlight FOR A FEW DAYS." Kiss my ass, front runner.

These are extremely hard to snap shut. If its cold you have to punch them closed. As a woman I cannot close them. The latches are just hard to close without putting my knee in the top of the lid to create more pressure on the latch to snap shut.

Order the wolf pack and the hi-lid separately and when they arrived the lid didn't fit.Normally all would be ok and I would get a replacement, but the cost of shipping was the same as the item and then when I went to return the item no shipper label was include, just buyer pay again.Terrible customer service across Amazon portal as that was not explained in the purchase.

Love the extra space for food and gear. Just enough to make a big difference. Stackable and solid lid.

The concept is good but..... I purchased 4 boxes and 4 hi lids. the boxes came with their own included lids and worked fine snug to tight but that's what you want in this type of box. The Hi lid's latches and the mating parts on the box did not line up AT ALL! I ended up taking the latch apart and cutting the round on the latch down by almost 1/8" and re shaping it. All latches on all the lids needed this to fit on any box in any orientation so it was defiantly a manufacturing defect. I would expect better from 4 plastic boxes with an almost $400.00 price tag. If I could have sent them back and got workable replacements in time I would have. But since it was a manufacturing defect the next set in the warehouse would have been just as bad, it was quicker to spend hours cutting them down rather than sending them and the bins back to find different boxes just before a big trip. By the way I did try the original latches with the hi lids but the same issue was present. It appears that it was the molding of the hinge hole the problem.The amount I cut them down was judged (tuned) to fit the lid to any box in any orientation and to latch just a bit tighter than the flush lids.

Whoever designed this was not part of the original lid design. Latches did not line up.
