Guzzini Gocce Coffee Jar, Light Red, 14 x 8.5 x H14.5 cm

These jars are amazing! We bought 4 of these in different colours when we bought our house 7 years ago and all 4 are still as new. The seals are still tight (perfect for freshness, not overtight) the colours are still bright and they still look as stylish as they did originally. I would recommend these to anyone, they are expensive as tea/coffee canisters go (that is what WE bought them for) but they have by far exceeded my expectations. I would say that we have had our money's worth out of them! I'm only sad that we are now moving and I think they are too bright/modern for our new kitchen, we will just have to put them to another use. I notice the new colours of blue and grey (not available when we bought these) so am tempted to get these instead!

Excellent jar, exactly large enough to hold 250g of ground coffee. The design is stylish, the surface flawless and the color very vibrant. At first, the jar was very difficult to open, but with continuous usage it became easier. At this point, after several months of use, I don't think it will loosen up any more, making it just perfect for its intended purpose to keep the coffee fresh.

This is a lovely product, beautifully shaped and functional - good vacuum. so why one star? This was a replacement for an identical product bought over four years ago where the seal had perished from lots of daily use, loved it so much....This one after just six months of using twice daily is showing deep fracture marks through both the acrylic and white plastic liner and over half the container. The material bond has broken showing really ugly marks. Very difficult to photograph, the damage is much deeper than I can adequately show. This container has not been dropped and I don't have a dishwasher! The third image which looks perfect is my old container - its heavier and still has a solid lovely finish even if it no longer has a vacuum seal.

These storage canisters are so gorgeous I want more. They have a slightly metallic sheen and feel robust and substantial. I think they are plastic, but you would never guess either from looking at them or from the feel of them. The red colour is quite dark and their shape allows them to fit neatly into a corner of a work top. The lids fit tightly, so they are perfect for tea bags and coffee. Most and best of all - they look sensational! I have a red kettle and these storage canisters pick up the red shine and look very decorative, whilst at the same time looking minimalist and expensive. These are definitely worth the price and so much better than any canisters I have bought in the past, which had labels and glue that wouldn't come off and nasty white lids and looked very tacky even though they were comparable in price. These canisters really look the business in a tidy, modern kitchen.

Looks beautiful. But it has a very stiff lid. I’ve tried several as l things to make it looser and ended up just not putting the lid on properly, just so that it wouldn’t take me 5 minutes to open it each time. Spoils the visual effect though

Brilliant red colour, love it with the green one and might go for an orange one soon! Tight seal at first, but works off pretty quickly and now I'm very very pleased with the seal and quality of these jars which is far superior to any others I've had.

UpDate vom 08.10.2018: Unsere innige Beziehung ist mit einem lauten Knall zu Bruch gegangen. War leider unvorsichtig, als ich die Dose von den Fingerabdrücken befreien wollte. Dabei ist sie mir aus der Hand gefallen und der Deckel beim Aufprall auf den Boden zerschellt. Das Ersatzteil gibt es zwar immer noch auf Amazon. Allerdings, wen wundert es noch, zu einem deutlich gestiegenen Preis. Auch die viel zu spät im Bestellprozess ausgewiesenen Versandkosten haben unvermindert "Mond"-Charakter. Dennoch gilt: Alte Liebe birst doch nicht .... !!! ;-) ----------------------- Eines sei vorweg angemerkt. Die Auswahl hier bei Amazon ist schon sehr umfangreich. Aber die Lieferzeiten und - kosten sind teilweise extrem hoch und nur schwer nachvollziehbar. Erst der Vergleich und die Suchergebnisse bei Google & Co. haben mich bewogen, das gute Stück dann doch hier bei Amazon zu erwerben. Das Warten hat sich absolut gelohnt !!! Ich muss gestehen, dass es beim Anblick dieser Dose "um mich geschehen" war !!! Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick, wie sich mich in ihrem satten, leuchtenden Rot anschmachtete. Oder war es vielleicht sogar umgekehrt ... ?? Bis sie allerdings den Weg in meinen Haushalt gefunden hat, dauerte dann doch noch eine ganze Weile. Ganz zu schweigen vom Brotkorb, der immer noch auf sich warten lässt. Soviel zur durchaus ausbaufähigen Lieferzeit. Die Dose fällt meines Erachtens kleiner aus wie man sie sich vorstellt. Ging mir jedenfalls so. Sie verjüngt sich nach oben hin. Ein echt stylisches Feature, das sie für mich auch so interessant gemacht hat. Sie übernimmt die Frischhaltefunktion für 250 g gemahlenen Kaffee. Diese Menge passt gerade eben so in sie hinein. Okay, der Dosierlöffel hat letztlich auch noch darin Platz gefunden. Wer jetzt allerdings genauer hinschaut, dem bleibt dann auch die Naht, an der die beiden roten (äußeren) (Acryl- ?)Hälften miteinander zusammengeklebt sind, nicht verborgen. Das hat meine Euphorie doch etwas geschmälert, weil ich bei einem derartig hochpreisigen Artikel nicht erwartet hätte, dass ein solches Detail erkennbar ist. Innen ist die Dose mit einem weißen Kunststoff ausgekleidet. Da wiederum scheint alles "aus einem Guß" zu sein. Der Deckel sitzt satt auf dem Korpus und schließt deutlich hörbar luftdicht ab. Da dürfte von den Kaffeearomen wohl keines entweichen. Ob dem tatsächlich auch so ist, wird die Zukunft zeigen. Noch ist es jedoch zu früh für eine qualifiziertere Aussage. Meine Befürchtung, der Deckel ließe sich wohl deshalb recht schwer abnehmen, vielleicht sogar nur unter "Produktaustritt", hat sich bisher nicht bestätigt. Soweit, so gut. Gerüche, gleich welcher Art, die in dem verwendeten Material ihren Ursprung haben könnten, waren nicht wahrnehmbar. Das hat dann wiederum überzeugt. Alles in allem hat mich diese stylische Dose ganz in ihren Bann gezogen ;-)

cette boite est très jolie et à l'air solide ! par contre je trouve qu'elle est un peu petite ....... toutefois le paquet de café tient dedans c'est plus juste pour loger la petite cuillère dossette mais en poussant un peu :) les produits Guzzini je conaissais c'est de la très belle qualité

Contenitore per il caffè Guzzini dal design proprio bello. Io ho scelto il colore rosso. La cosa che mi ha fatto decidere per l'acquisto è proprio la sua forma che ben si adatta a riporlo anche in frigo. Certo che, come già letto in altre recensioni, l'apertura non è proprio agevole ma io ho trovato il punto su cui far leva per aprirlo senza grosse difficoltà.

Die Optik der Dose und die Farbe ist toll.Leider lässt sich die Dose nur unglaublich schwer öffnen und nimmt einem dadurch die Freude an dem Produkt.Schade
