Tasty with good texture
So I have literally just been adding one or two strips of this to my congee inspired meals. I usually soak them for a few minutes in water to soften them before cutting them into bite sized pieces with scissors and dumping them in the soup.I love the texture, and they seem to absorb the flavor of the dish I cook them in.The texture stays strong and doesn't seem to dissolve or get gooey like grain noodles can if cooked too long. I think I want to get more when payday rolls around.

wish it wasnt so sketchy bc it's INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS
ive tried a lot of tofu skin, tofu knots, etc. i love tofuthis is INCREDIBLE. genuinely the best tofu I've ever had hands down. it has a flavor baseline that almost tastes like chicken. if you're vegan and want to replicate flavor this is the product to go to. the texture is great, flavor is great, and it's soooo quick to make. you can add it to soups, stir fry, or even eat it as a quick snack with sauce and veg.to cook they say you just need to dip it in boiling water for a few seconds but i prefer to let it sit for 1-2 minutes in kettle water. i find if you don't cook tofu skin long enough your stomach will personally make your life hell, but you CAN just dip it for a few seconds if you want a firmer bite. regardless of how long you cook it, it'll taste and feel great texture wise.literally cannot sing enough praise for this.

Tofu Skin
A convenient form of tofu to have at home, since it has a longer shelf life than tofu. It was my first time trying to cook with tofu skin. I rehydrated one package in room temp filtered water for 6 hours, gently replacing the soaking water a few times. Once rehydrated, I cut the strips longitudinally, and cooked them for 10- 15 minutes in previously prepared pasta sauce with asian notes such as mirin and rice vinegar.

Heavy metal contamination?
Noticed this product is made in China. Heard rumors that crops (soy beans) could be irrigated by sewer water. Potentially contaminated with heavy metals and who knows what. Don’t think the govt monitors farming practice.
