We have ten new biddies that we just added to our flock this week. After raising our first ten last year, 100% indoors until they reached pullet size, we have learned from trial and error as well as The School of Hard Knocks regarding what to do and what not to do with baby chickens. If you have raised baby chickens before, you know how difficult it is to find grit that is small enough for 0 to 8 weeks old. Most of what is sold as "Biddie Grit" or "Chick Grit" is entirely too large for baby chick's. We just found our permanent solution to this problem when we purchased this Chick Grit. It has a uniform fineness to it that is absolutely perfect for baby chick's. We found the product to be high-quality, with perfect ingredients and size. and was very fresh. It is an excellent value for the money, as one bag should get 15 to 20 chick's through their first and cutest stage of life.
