Xtenex Unisex Shoe Laces

I bought my first set of these laces 7 months ago. I've bought a new set with each pair of running shoes since.Once you've tried these, you struggle to go back to normal laces. Even tension, no chance of over or under tightening, no slapping around your ankles, no coming undone etc. They hold your shoe on as tightly or loosely as you want and can be adjust easily to suit. I have mine fairly tight, even still, I can pull the tongue and slip them on and off with ease. The little disappearing/reappearing knots are a touch of genius.The first pair I bought were a bugger to fit, really hurt my fingers and took half an hour. Recent pairs have been a doddle. As long as I'm buying running shoes, I'll be buying these laces. Not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.

I bought these for my 6 year olds Dr Martens. They're not quite long enough (I've had to miss a hole) but are brilliant! It means she can put her own shoes on, the laces aren't coming undone all the time and the teachers aren't moaning! Although initially difficult to thread, once I got the hang of it (stretch out the lace at the same time as threading them) it was easy enough. Because of the knots they also stay tight, no need to keep pulling them like other laces I've tried.Great product, well worth the extra pennies.

I bought these laces so that my running shoes could be adjusted exactly how I want them and stay that way. They are a bit of effort to lace the first time, but once adjusted, they just stay exactly where you put them. Has reduced the potential for rubbing greatly, and means I can get my running shoes on quickly in transition during a triathlon, perfectly adjusted. Would have tried them sooner, but thought that the price was a bit high for taking a chance (compared to the cost of normal elastic laces). Definitely worth the money and arrived quickly :-)

I have used the white version successfully on tennis shoes. For ordinary black shoes , they are not very attractive and also, like the tennis shoes, quite hard work to install. However , they do the job perfectly. Reco0mmend for anyone who has diffulty bending to do shoe laces.

I purchased these for my running trainers as I was experiencing top of the foot pain which I believed was caused by using normal laces. First time trying these and they was great no pain during my run or after. They also had a great feel to them too and my trainers felt a lot more comfortable.

Used it for Toughmudder in the hopes it would solve the issue of having to always check my laces and that they let my shoes expand as my feet swell over the 12 miles. It did the job perfectly and i know have them on my everyday trainers. Great product for a Great Price

I found these very difficult to threat through the lace holes in the shoes.Useful for people who can't do their own laces, e.g. learning difficulties, arthritic hands but they would need someone with flexible hands to put them in.

Great product, have them on all my triathlon running shoes for a quick transition. Take a bit of time to get the fit right for tightness but once done they are great.

I bought this for a young adult with hemiplegia, who can't tie laces. He is able to put he shoes on independently, but I need to be careful that the laces are not too tight, or they make his shoes rub.

Think there a great idea but no good for thin track shoes you can feel all the knots.

Of all of the elastic laces that I've used, these are the most uncomfortable. The little knots tend to irritate the top of my foot, unless I leave them so loose that my foot feels as if the laces are untied. Wouldn't buy again.

After reading several review of these laces i thought they would be perfect for my 5yo who can't yet tie his laces. However in his Timberland boots they are quite hard to use. I think however they would be better suited to trainers?? Good product, just now ideal for what I wanted it for!

These are great my feet are much more comfortable in my trainers, and a lot less hassle getting them off and on quickly
