I had an old 1975 vintage analogue DC meter. It was damaged by battery leakage, so I researched digital multimeters. I chose the AstroAI and promptly burned out one of the two fuses trying to measure my car battery's DC voltage because I connected the red lead incorrectly. I was used to only 2 jacks, this multimeter has 4 input jacks. A small paper User Manual is included, but for an old man it was hard to make out the even smaller images. Downloading the .pdf version of the User Manual from AstroAI.com solved that problem.I recognized MY mistake and connected the red lead correctly, and it worked just fine. I also measured AC voltage successfully. The fuse was not protecting those functions. I contacted AstroAI Support and was amazed at how quickly they responded with Amazon links to replacement fuses. I replaced the fuse, and all is good.I am really impressed by the tremendous functionality of this multimeter and the nice case that it comes with. It is exquisitely designed and almost foolproof. It has a Smart function which simplifies many of the measurements that it can take. It has a rugged plastic guard around it to protect it from falls and other mishaps.It is easy to change fuses and batteries. It comes with a spare set of three AAA batteries. The display is clear, and it appears to be very accurate. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you want a capable digital multimeter with good support.

Grande gamma di misurazioni disponibili, display grande, a colori, luminoso e1) il tester non si spegne arbitariamente (o almeno non succede in tempi rapidi e con "sirene e versacci" che sembrano praticamente annunciare che "lo hai usato per troppo tempo ed è ora di finirla"2) la retroilluminazione è forse necessaria al funzionamento del display stesso, ed è una fortuna, dato che lo si accende e funziona fino a quando non lo si spegne volontariamente. A differenza di altri prodotti che, oltre ad avere caratteristiche nettamente inferiori (tipo di misurazioni effettuabili, numero di cifre visualizzabili..) hanno "la fissa" delle batterie da risparmiare, per cui se hanno la retroilluminazione la spengono pochi secondi dopo averla accesa (accesa in modo farraginoso, forse in modo tale "da impedire indesiderabili e pericolossisime accensioni fortuite")

I recently had my $400+ Keysight DMM with OLED display go TU. This is my revenge. The AstroAI MUS10KRD is my new "first grab" meter these days. I benchmarked the accuracy and it is bang on. It is very affordable; in fact it is cheap enough that you could snag a couple, one for the bench and one for the garage (or whatever). The leads are pretty good quality and are of the Fluke variety. (Of course I would like some Probe Master probes but it's hard to justify $20 leads for a $45 meter.) The BEST THING ABOUT THIS DMM IS THE DISPLAY. The display is nothing short of FABULOUS --- large, bright, crisp, clear, and with generous viewing angles. The automatic power off can be disabled if you like; a feature that I really appreciate. Durability remains to be seen. Battery life, again, too soon to tell, but no problems so far. The only gripe that I have is the lack of a kickstand.UPDATE: Some folks say the continuity test is slow. It is. BUT, replacing the probes with some Probe Master probes helps mitigate this considerably. Yes, I ponied up $20 for new probes. Also, don't rely on the AUTO mode for continuity tests; use MANUAL mode instead. Works pretty well is you do.
