Wow so good
I have been using an old android on my bars for the last year, but it shuts down in the heat. So got this Android Auto screen and its been great. Took my first 1000 mile trip this past week and worked great. Occasional disconnect but thats probably just interference. Connect to my Samsung phone and Sena headset. Great responsive screen, no issues with brightness but I have it mounted vertically. You can even use the sound on the device for directions. If you use a headset, make sure to turn off the built in mic in the screen. Also if you have a SENA turn off VOX. Definitely worth the price. Mount is a bit cheap and I just used my camera mounts instead. Removing the screen is easy and like the little safety screw that keeps it secure when mounted. Havent found out if there is any website to get updates to the device.

Look elsewhere
There is much to like about this unit. The setup was super quick and linked both my iPhone and helmet flawlessly. I absolutely love the features of this unit! It’s perfect and exactly what I’m looking for. Unfortunately it only lasted about two months. It now comes on just fine but shuts off after only a minute or two. Making matters worse is the Amazon return/warranty period is only 30 days meaning handling the “12 month warranty” as stated in the product description is difficult. The effort of taking a motorcycle apart for a clean install is wasted as it will need to be done again. An outstanding product that needs to be made more robust. Don’t purchase!!!

Impressed
I just installed this device but haven’t had the chance to take it on the road yet. This review is written up the night of installation. It seems like a good product though there are some minor obstacles I faced during installation I think would be a great improvement.1. I had to go to the store and get some additional nuts for the Mount. The nuts that came with it are stop nuts which prevented me from tightening it up properly. This might just be faulted because of the design of my bike. But I do think it would be helpful to have standard bolts with the package.2. It didn’t come with proper connectors for the wire to battery. I had to go to a friends and get some connectors from him. I would recommend adding this to the product as well.3. Quite a minor issue, but to disconnect the power 100% you have to unplug the wire from the screen (it’s got a long wire that connects to the battery and runs up the bike to the desired location), or another option is to press s button on the device that will put it in a power saving mode. I’m not tech savvy so I might be thinking too much into this concern. But I would think power save mode still draws juice from the battery? If that’s the case my concern would be that it might drain my battery? If this is the case, I would recommend adding a switch to the wire that will disconnect the power rather than having to unplug the device. It may take some getting used to figuring out the device completely but after testing it out quickly after installation everything seemed to work just fine. As advertised my phone connects to the device, and the device connects to my helmets Bluetooth which was really cool. I just need to text out the calling feature on it still.I’ll be back to write another review after a week or so of use to see how it goes. Conclusion: this appears to be a really great device to have for your motorcycle, especially if you need something with a bit larger screen than your phone.

Amazing Quality!
I installed this Apple Play Screen on my BMW R1200RT motorcycle several weeks ago. The installation was fairly easy but I am a former auto electric mechanic. The screen is very bright and readable under full sun. It has held up perfectly under vibration and moisture. Once I figured out the best scenario is to pair my Sena headset to my IPhone, then pair the IPhone to the screen, it functions seamlessly without intervention. Everything syncs up when I turn the ignition on within 15 seconds. I can play and select my favorite songs using Amazon Music from the screen. I put the IPhone in my jacket pocket or in a compartment on the motorcycle. For the price, I don’t think you can get anything better.

I wanted to love it!
The concept of a wireless Android Auto devise for the motorcycle is very appealing. I purchased this for a big fall motorcycle trip. I have spent the last 10 days driving over 2400 miles while using this device and I am returning it. The idea is great, the screen is great, installation was easy....I just wished it worked. This unit is very susceptible to bumps in the road. I can't tell you if it was the cable or how the screen attaches to the holder (pressure connection for power). Depending on the road I was on it could stay connected for 2 minutes or 2 hours. Trying to use this to navigate through Chicago was nightmare. Many roads are under construction which means lots of bumps. If the unit would restart after the bump I would almost be okay with it. The real problem is it will go to either a black screen or a white screen causing you to have to push the power button. Sometimes when resetting it would also lose the connectivity to the Bluetooth headset (that means resetting the headset). Try doing that driving through Chicago at highway speed every 2 minutes. The manual indicates for problems like this to check how you have the power connected to the cable for the device. I had the cable connected directly to my accessory strip with screws, so I know the connection was good. I think they have a couple design flaws. One of them in the power connection to the device and the other in the device itself. Disruption of power should not cause it to hang up (black screen/white screen)The one thing I did learn from this experience is I love the concept of this device and I will be looking for a more reputable brand. I gave it two stars because when it was working I loved it.
