I recently purchased the Godox MS300V MS300-V Compact Studio Strobe Flash Light for my studio, and it has significantly improved the quality of my portrait photography. Here’s my detailed review based on my experience: Pros: Powerful Output: With a 300W power output and a guide number of 58, this strobe provides ample lighting for a variety of studio setups. It ensures my subjects are well-lit, resulting in sharp and vibrant portraits. Quick Recycle Time: The 0.1-1.8 second recycle time is impressive, allowing for continuous shooting without long waits. This feature is particularly useful during fast-paced portrait sessions. 2.4G X System: The built-in 2.4G wireless X system offers seamless integration with other Godox products. It provides reliable and convenient wireless control, which is a huge advantage for coordinating multiple lights in a studio setup. Bowens Mount: The Bowens mount is a versatile feature that makes it compatible with a wide range of modifiers and accessories. This flexibility allows me to shape and control the light precisely according to my needs. LED Modeling Lamp: The LED modeling lamp is bright and energy-efficient, providing excellent preview lighting to help set up shots accurately before firing the flash. Compact Design: The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to handle and position within the studio. It doesn't take up much space and is straightforward to set up. Cons: Build Quality: While the strobe is generally well-made, it has a somewhat plasticky feel. A more robust build would enhance its durability. Conclusion: The Godox MS300V MS300-V Compact Studio Strobe Flash Light is a powerful and versatile addition to any studio photographer's equipment. Its strong output, quick recycle time, and compatibility with various modifiers make it an excellent choice for portrait photography. However, potential buyers should be aware that the stand and diffuser shown in the image I am uploading are not included with the strobe. Despite this, the overall performance and features of the MS300V make it a valuable investment for enhancing studio lighting setups.

This is my most recent upgrade and I am not disappointed at all. I was thinking they would be much smaller than they really are, I mean that in a good way. Great product!

Put together well and for a good price. Great entry level strobes for those of us who are new to photography. More than enough power to get the job done! UPDATE: Ordered a third light and I was sent an opened box, used light, missing paperwork. Fortunately, the light works and seems to be ok. My complaint isn't with the product but with whomever is responsible for fulfilling the order. This makes the third time I've been sent used, and returned items. Some damaged. Are you kidding me?! If you can't fulfill the order then wait until you can! Stop sending opened returns and charging full price like they were new.! Disappointed in the fulfillment process. Still happy with the product.

I really like the compact size of these (I actually bought two because they are a great deal). The only thing about these that I wish was a little better is the quality of the clamp that connects to the light stand, it just feels much cheaper than other godox studio flashes that I own/have used. I don't think these would be able to hold a heavy umbrella or something like that because the plastic used to make the clamp at the bottom would probably break with too much weight on it. Definitely buy them if you want inexpensive and compact studio lights, but maybe use a more robust light for your heavy umbrella softboxes and things like that. Also, and this goes for all the new models of godox lights that use the C.O.B. modeling lights... The protector covers are still the massive old ones that you would need with a lightbulb modeling light. I modified (heated the end up and stretched them to fit the length) some third party COB light covers to make more compact covers for these, so they fit in my studio bag.

So far so good. I’ve been using it for a week now, got 2 of those, I wish I got 3 but didn’t have enough of money. When it comes to photography, there are so many beautiful light set ups using 3 light sources. Also highly recommend to get stands with rollers - just easier. I got fixed stands and when it comes to moving it - can be a bit pain in the ass, but the strobes itself are beautiful
