It's a metal shoehorn. I suppose there might exist a luxury version that might be better in some way, but it's affordable and does the job just like it's supposed to and feels like it's going to last (plastic one I used to have suddenly snapped one day). It's even got a nice little hole you could hang it on a peg with or run a string through to hang.

What I like about this shoe horn is that it is easy to use. Makes getting into your shoes or sneakers a lot quicker. Saves the back of your foot wear from getting crushed or pushed down by the heel of your foot.I keep it handy at all times. It's something you don' t think you need but, end up using daily. I highly recommend this product.

My son likes to smash his feet into his shoes. Caused a lot of complaining and frustration. I got him the shoehorn and no more complaining and the frustration is gone!

I like the fact that it was made out of metal and my foot just slips right into the shoe. I had trouble before with my shoes folding inward and trying to get my foot in the shoe. Great for seniors.

This was thing is really sharp as others pointed out. It can easily cause paper cuts even if you are being careful. Best to foil it down.

These shoe horns are quite substantial. And yet they are lightweight and easy to use. There is no real give to the shoehorn when you use them, so they feel pretty solid.
