Easy setup and charges nicely with the cords that were provided.
The microscope screen is nice and clear and works great. I have been able to exam the coin’s easily. It connects to my laptop via the cords as well!

Extremely easy set up and use
This is the first experience I’ve had with a microscope. I get a lot of research. I decided that the Tomlov Dm9 Pro was for me. It was a great decision. The detail is unbelievable. I am very happy with the microscope. I’m glad I did my research and I made the right choice.

Excellent little microscope! No major complaints.
I bought this as I already do small soldering projects and other small projects where I need to magnify things significantly. I have an older very expensive Bausch & Lomb stereo microscope but I have to shove my face against it just right and it's very awkward, needless to say. That and an LED-lit magnifying glass but that's a fixed magnification and not enough to do some of the really small stuff. With this unit, there's a nice display - and if I need a bigger display I can hook up a larger monitor to it via HDMI (even includes the cable!) Records video and stills to the included SD micro card as well. Heck, it even includes a remote so you don't disturb the unit trying to take a picture or video! The display itself is nice and clear, the extra little lights help plenty but the camera is pretty good about adjusting to brightness on its own. Focus is super easy to do and gets plenty clear enough for me to do my work. Geared riser works excellent and can give you an overall big picture or get down pretty close. Very helpful for soldering small surface mount electronics or working on watches. Runs off USB (doesn't include an AC adapter but I bought myself an extension cord/surge protector that has some USB outlets on it so I don't need a wall wart.)The ONLY complaint I have (and it's extremely minor) is the bolt used to tighten the geared riser is extremely tough (without a wrench.) I designed and 3D printed a simple knurled knob that gives you enough leverage to tighten/loosen the bolt without a wrench. That way I don't have to go run and dig in my toolbox for a wrench just to adjust it (if even necessary.)I will say that the base where the lights are has it's own battery, so you'll have to charge that separately (again, cable included at least!) but it's something you'll need to be aware of when using it.Best part is, I was able to show my 9 year old how to solder and he took to it like a pro after watching me do it on the microscope.

I love this thing!
I use this when doing electronic repairs to see circuits up close and personal. It’s also just a really fun toy to examine anything up close. Store’s images with and sd card.

Portable Microscope Providing Great Magnification at a reasonable price. Would Buy Again.
I’ve been using the microscope for about 1.5 months now and quite pleased with my purchase. The scope arrived well packaged and requires a little assembly. You’ll want to have an adjustable wrench on hand but no other tools are required. The collar that the Vertical Support sits in has a bolt to secure the support in place and you won’t be able to loosen/tighten it by hand. When the scope is first turned on it comes up on video mode which has a slightly lower magnification level than the camera mode. You’ll notice the difference immediately when switching between the two modes. Overall, operation is simple and easy. I mostly use the scope in camera mode to examine coins but other uses are only limited to your imagination. Note that the scope assembly can be used without the mounting assembly, just takes a steady hand to keep it in focus.Pros:Small, light-weight, good magnification, portable (can be used in the field), has an HDMI connection to display the image on your PC screen, 32Gb micro SD card included, includes remote control.Cons:No micro SD card adapter (my PC won’t accept the small micro card), no way to attach the remote to the camera body for storage (see Improvement suggestions below).Improvements:I added a cardboard ‘compartment’ to the underside of the platform. This allows me to slide the remove into the opening and avoids losing the remote. See pics. Not really an improvement but a way to squeeze a little more magnification out of the lens. The lowest downward vertical travel of the camera is limited by the vertical support bottoming out in its holder. By placing the object to observe on a raised platform (say a book at least 1/8 inch thick), you can lower the camera body closer to the object and still be able to focus. Removing the lens shield you can get even closer but be careful not to allow the lens to touch the object or you’ll damage the lens.
