If you have gas install and some common sense construction experience, this works perfectly.

It is a good valve. Easy to install if you know what you are doing.

I have used several and they work great

New laundry area needed all the right hardware. This worked well.

Male 3/4 pipe threads on the inlet pipe; Female 3/4 pipe outlet needs a flared nipple not provided. The nipple 3/4 male pipe to 3/4 or 1/2 flare should come with the gas line. Like many valves it was hard to rotate the first time. I recommend turning it a few times before installation. It has no metal strapping provided and needs supported in the wall with strapping bars or wooden supports. Be sure to drill hole close to wall or the escutcheon may not snap into the fixture when the dry wall is installed.

I’ve used this trim kit for a stove and dryer and it’s a great way to save space and tuck those appliances tight against the wall. In most places I’ve seen the gas pipes stick out or come out of the floor. This just makes it flush and neat. Highly recommend.
