Review of Nekteck GaN Charger 100W USB C Charger 3-Ports with PD.3 and QC.3This charger has excellent capabilities for a very reasonable price. It's capable of Super Fast Charging 2.0 through PPS for Samsung phones, meaning it can charge even 45 watt phones like mine at max speed safely through advanced negotiation between the phone and the charger, which is rare. Being able to do that essentially means this charger gets the best seal of approval from my phone just like Samsung chargers, but with some added capabilities that Samsung isn't offering yet. I got this instead of the most similar Samsung charger not only because it's a little cheaper, but also because it offers much higher wattage so that I can charger both my laptop and phone at high speeds at the same time.The advanced charging standards or protocols this charger uses allow it to more intelligently balance the power delivery to multiple ports at the same time based on specifics about the devices. That's better for the devices and the charger and should help with heat so that the charger can keep working and not overheat which is a problem I found with some of the other chargers I considered.Price and safety are both important. I like that Nekteck gets USB-IF certifications for many of their chargers which is the highest level certification I know of for chargers. I was a little wary since it looked like this one doesn't have it but as far as I can tell after some searching is that that kind of certification might not be available yet for this kind of multiport charger yet. This one says it's FCC certified and I couldn't find any multiport chargers with any better safety certifications. This still seemed like the better bet since Nekteck's other chargers meet that higher standard where available. I was willing to spend more if needed for something reliable, safe, and versatile, but I literally could not find any charger with these ports and high enough wattage with a higher level certification or better safety record for the charger or company. I really hope those certifications become available for multiport chargers to simplify the buying process so that it doesn't take so much research.This charger has some weight to it, but it's still very small and light for its wattage and number of ports. That, the folding plug, the multiple ports, and high wattage make this my go to charger for travel now since this one charger can charge my phone, laptop, and power bank at the same time.Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the color. Highly recommend.

I love this charger I needed a block an cord 2n1 charger.

Have multiple of these, works great for my Android devices, is a great replacement for Apple (especially for current USB-C fitted items, but also for lighting captured devices due to the USB-A option!), and powers my work laptop via USB-C when I'm not near the docking station. One charger that can serve all my and my family's devices that is much lighter and compact than having to drag three or four separate chargers around. In fact this charger is physically lighter than several of the individual chargers that it replaces.Only complaint that I have is actually a feature, and that is the foldable plug. When using as a travel charger, subject to the whims of hotel and resort electrical outlets, some of which couldn't hold a 2x4 in the wall, the retractable prongs, combined with cables plugged into the device can make 'travel charging' a challenge. Often everything falls out of the wall, more so than with Samsung USB-A wall ports, etc.Solution is to travel with a short extension cord (that we take anyway), so perhaps a demerit, but also perhaps not.
