DHS Conditioning Rinse (8 oz)

I had to shop around a lot for conditioners because I have increasingly sensitive skin and I kept getting an itchy scalp from other brands. I like this one a lot. It is unscented, though it has it's own scent from the conditioning ingredients - it doesn't smell great coming out of the bottle, but I've never noticed any scent from it on my hair. I'm not crazy about the yellow color of it, but whatever because it doesn't make my scalp itch and my hair feels soft.

Works well. Helped my scalp right away.

I use this in combination with the DHS Zinc Shampoo. I am using both to treat dry scalp/flakes as a result of using accutane (isotretinoin). I am so glad I did. The shampoo relieves my dry scalp, and this makes sure my hair and scalp are moisturized. It's a bit hard to spread through hair, so I just put it on top and wipe it on my hair and use some water to try and spread it. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because I don't like the smell... it's smells kinda like plastic...? But I don't care as long as it works. The smell doesn't last in your hair either.

Perfect conditioner for fine, thin hair. Gets the tangles out and doesn't weigh it down or look greasy.

I have three hair issues that make it almost impossible to find the right hair products that won't exacerbate at least one of them. First, sensitive skin - most shampoos and conditioners cause eczema. Second, very dry hair that needs moisturizing treatment. Third, thinning hair. DHS Condtioning Rinse is the closest I've come to a compromise between these three issues. It doesn't cause any irritation or allergic reaction. I use this together with the DHS Clear Shampoo. It moisturizes slightly while detangling. I rinse lightly to try to leave a bit in my hair, and this is sometimes enough to calm my extremely dry, fuzzy hair. Sometimes I still have to add another product while styling. Finally, this conditioner causes A LOT less hair loss than many others. Most of the conditioners I've tried leave me with a huge handful of hair in the shower - not great when my hair is already thin. With this one, I may lose a few strands now and then. I can't say it's thickening my hair, but at least it's not thinning it. The price is on a par with other fragrance-free products I've tried, and one bottle lasts me about 3 months.

I've been using the DHS Zinc shampoo for a while now, and have liked it a lot. The conditioner was consistently out of stock, so I hadn't tried it until recently, and I'm a bit disappointed. It doesn't seem to condition at all - My hair feels dry after using, and it seems to be a little frizzy. I'll be skipping this purchase. Still on the look for a lightweight, but conditioning conditioner.

I am allergic to a long list of ingredients that make it extremely challenging for me to find any hair care products, let alone one that works for my fine hair. This one is it! My hair is soft and shiny, has volume, and does not end up looking greasy by the end of the day. I’m so happy. My face has cleared up (chronic rash from hair/facial care products with unknown allergies at the time) I’m not itching constantly and my hair looks great. I get so many compliments on my hair now 💗. Scent is not bad but since it is fragrance free it is not a fun scent which is exactly what I need.
