Soil Revival

You can use it in straight water, but I add molasses every time. I discovered if you mix it with molasses and aerate for 12 hours it smells just like compost tea (especially if you add some OMRI listed potassium sulfate). I have been applying it every time I water and it doesn't burn my autos. It keeps the soil smelling just like the forth or fifth day after starting a new grow, when that acrid poop smell(from the Nature's Living Soil auto concentrate) finally dwindles a bit. I probably sound like a shill but, I won't grow without it now.

This works well on my indoor plants. The plants thrive with this addition. The season got away from me and so I am waiting to continue fertilizing with this until spring. Also would like to see how it works with outdoor plants that might need some tlc. I'm hoping like probiotics we take, the fungi and probiotics in this formula thrive and produce in the soil outside,increasing the beneficials, and hopefully spreading. For the number of gallons it produces it's not a bad price. I've spent that much on gallons that were already diluted. If it gives the plants the support they need, it is worth it!

I won't need to use this for a while but I really like what I have read about it on their website. You must go to their website to get directions on how to use it. It will be a while before I can truly evaluate its performance so I'll have to update this review. Something to keep in mind is that it's is very small so it will only go so far but should work well for a small garden.

I got this Soil Revival probiotic for my vegetable garden. I have started late this season and the plants are small, so they benefit from some extra help. For a mild solution, half a teaspoon of powder should be mixed with one gallon of water, and applied in the soil around the plant, or as a foliar spray. The instructions can be found online, I did not find them on the package itself. My garden is at a remote location without internet, and I could not check the instructions at the time of application. For one tomato plant I mixed a small amount of powder in the soil, then watered deeply. It did not harm at all the tomato, which is doing great after the application. I will follow the instructions in the future since mixing with water may give even better results. I think this is a great product and I would recommend it!

First, something positive: the package is easy to open and the product is easy to apply. It's just a powder that you can mix into your soil, applying as a top dressing. Now for the negative: whether or not it's actually doing anything positive to my soil, I can't really say one way or another. I'm just having to take it on faith that it is. As far as I can tell, my plants are doing no different than before I applied the product (it's been a month) to their pots. I can't say that it has hurt them, so that's good.I would have liked the package to have some sort of clear instructions on how to use the product and what should be expected over a particular timeline. Instead, the package refers you to a website. The website isn't particularly helpful.

I’m trying to get a three year old Satsuma Mandarin tree in my yard to grow more vigorously - my tree is healthy but it just isn’t flourishing. I think this product is maybe intended for indoor growers that are growing consumables. But if indoor plants can benefit from it then I’m sure my tree can as well. The package is fairly small but each application only takes a couple of teaspoons. I went to their website and was surprised to see all of the beneficial ingredients in this product. It would probably take at least a few weeks to notice a difference so my rating is based on the excellent ingredient list - I think the manufacturer really researched what plants need so I have faith it is a good product. If anything changes my opinion in the coming weeks I’ll be back to update this review!

This product is easy to mix and use. The beneficial microbes and fungi are the difference between "dead" dirt and living soil that plants need to thrive. I have red clay here and hence use a lot of coconut coir to loosen and aerate the soil. I will use this when hydrating coir, but I also plan to use it as a foliar spray to see if it helps at all with the powdery mildew that is the Bane #2 of a Georgia gardener's existence. (Bane #1 is, of course, the deer. I don't think this Soil Revival will help much with that.)
