AQA A Level Sociology Student Book 2 (Collins AQA A Level Sociology)

Must be good as it’s helped my daughter get an A* in her exam

As a student currently studying A2 Sociology, I've been using this book for just over 2 weeks now. It is definitely suitable for exam content, my school teaches us from a different one so the layout is different to what I'm used to but generally the content is quite good and the same as the one in school (which I assume is the best). I don't believe the actual exam prep is that great in comparison to the other book but it does offer questions at the end of each topic which is nice. One improvement I would say is that it could actually give model answers and give us students a break down of the exam. Other than that it's fairly decent other than a few 'wall of text' issues which come down to the layout of the book which isn't that great.

I agree with a previous review that the Collins textbook is excellent as a source of information for pupils to use outside of the classroom. I would not, however, use it as a textbook for whole-class teaching due to the relative lack of activities and exam questions when compared with the Ken Browne books that I use.

Absolutely fantasticThe quality of the book feels very good in the hand, the pages feel strong and are the type to last a long time after continuous use.This books is very good for those students who are studying the A2 especially with the new specification, this book allow student to obtain a vast amount of knowledge in a simplified way.The book is easy to follow with the heading and subheadings.Perosnally as an A2 sociology student this books after purchasing has increased my knowledge, it's a valuable tool for revising and I would rate this very highly in terms of resourceful information.
