Wicked Wahine Perfume 3 fl. oz. - The Original Formula

This is a classic perfume I have been using that goes way back. Although i recently discovered it is available here with Amazon Prime which means free shipping instead of purchasing from a popular store in Hawaii and had to pay shipping. The scent is amazing!

About 20 years ago, I bought this perfume in Hawaii at the little store in the military airport px. It smelled really nice to me back then (I also smoked cigarettes then) I was really excited to find this scent again and to be fair before I get into specifics- maybe my smeller has changed due to not smoking for so long.. It still smells nice, just not really what I remember. It is a musk scent (which I usually enjoy), but it has a really deep undertone that is almost appalling to my nose. It could be the reaction it has with my body chemistry.. honestly, when I put it on, I smell like an old lady that got into her curdled avon collection 😬 This scent is just not for me anymore. Hope it works out well for you...or your 90 year old Grandma 🫣

I have used this, only, since 1998, the First time in the Islands. Always have bought at ABC stores or CVS stores in Kona. Last couple times I have ordered through Amazon. Its just not the same the last two years. Looks like water, hardly any color, does not have the same smell, and the pump either sticks or comes out in a dream instead of a spray. I would love to give 5 stars, bit not now. Going to have a friend of mine, in Kona, to send me a fresh bottle. Maybe that will make a difference. I think it to old, what we are ordering locally.

Forty years ago my husband and I honeymooned in Hawaii, and one of the gifts he gave to me from the islands was an enchanting perfume: Wicked Wahine. It was a lovely floral with a gentle musky undertone, and I loved it. It's been many years now since we have been able to return to the beautiful Aloha State, so when I saw Wicked Wahine available online, I took the opportunity to buy it as a reminder of happy days gone by. I'm not only disappointed in the product, I'm appalled. Instead of a subtle hint of musk, it now has a heavy musky scent that completely overwhelms any other attribute, and lingers oppressively. If this is truly the original formula, then the batch from which my husband bought the scent for me years ago must have been a lucky aberration.

Got this the first time in Hawaii for our 25th anniversary. I still buy it because it brings back the islands and makes me feel young again...and we are heading for our 54th anniversary.

Well this is a product that my wife likes and loves it cause of her grandmother so when I found her this on amazon I bought it and very grateful they had it. It’s something special and smells good.

I purchased this as many years ago a friend visited Hawaii & bought a bottle. I just loved the scent on her! Thought I would order & whoa! It is overpowering at first spray & almost smells “old lady perfume gone rancid”; however, after it dries down, I remember how much I loved this perfume & I am enjoying this very intriguing scent. The top notes on me are crazy bad, but after the dry down the other notes are really nice. I will keep trying. Test will be if my husband likes it or not! I noticed another reviewer had same experience, top note awful & then after wear down, compliments from her daughter!
