My new favorite
Purchased a bag of Hy-Chews at store & took to work to try. They are a big hit! Co-workers can't get enough of them and want to try ALL the flavors. I have a few favs but they all are really good- similar consistency to a tootsie roll and not too sweet.

It's okay
Pretty good candy, while you are chewing it, but it does leave a bad, bitter, chemical aftertaste that lingers, similar to red or black food coloring, that is hard to get rid of. I haven't tried more than one flavor, yet, but I do know that if the other flavors have this aftertaste, as well, then I will not be ordering it again.

Truly disappointed that I didn't get all the flavors that were advertised. We were looking forward to getting them all. Got these Apple, Grape, Mango and strawberry. Missing 4 .. not worth the price.

Hi-Chew are very tasty little sweets. Soft and chewy with very good well developed fruit flavours. Much better taste than other brands of soft fruit chews such as starbursts and a great range of flavours too. I found the kiwi ones taste slightly like the old fashioned pear drop boiled sweets, which I found very appealing.

God I love these things. An intensely fruity high quality Japanese chewy sweet. The chew itself is long and satisfying. Although there is an odd moment where for a few seconds it feels like you're chewing gum rather than a sweet. But once you've passed that point and realised you can actually swallow it, it's all good. Can't recommend these highly enough. Especially the grape flavour. Yummy grape.
