I never thought I would get so excited about an oven cleaning product. I still needed to apply some elbow grease and scrub the really bad areas but this stuff was able to restore our oven to brand new condition. The instructions say to leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes but I got better results when I left it on for an hour. Apply a thick layer with a brush without diluting the gel and let it sit. After an hour gently scrub with something that will not scratch the surface of your oven. Then wipe it down with a wet rag. There were some really stubborn spots where I had to repeat the process but finally everything came off. In the past I tried other products and some DIY recommendations but nothing works as well as this stuff. While I highly recommend to have good ventilation while working with any cleaning product this one did not make my eyes water. I used gloves while applying the gel and scrubbing but at some point I noticed that one of the gloves had torn. Despite my fingers being completely covered in the gel I didn't feel any kind of burning or irritation on my skin that other cleaning products cause. Bottom line if you need a clean stove, this is the product that you want.

This product works very well. I just cleaned my oven that I had been procrastinating on cleaning for 2 years. It was a BIG improvement rather than using the standard household oven cleaner in an aerosol can. I used to have to open every window in my house or I'd choke from the fumes. There are no harsh fumes and it works on a cold oven very quickly! I used about 1/3 of the bottle on my oven, poured it into a solo cup and applied it with a cheap new paint brush. A couple of grease spots needed a 2nd application, but overall it did an impressive job. I want to try it on my grill next!

EZ-Off used to make a gel oven cleaner in a jar that I liked using because I could apply it just where I wanted it and it worked. They stopped making it and I could only find spray on foam oven cleaner that gave off caustic fumes, couldn’t be applied precisely where I wanted and, worst of all, didn’t work. Although I have a self cleaning oven, my oven racks and stove top drip pans could no longer be cleaned and had gotten disgusting looking over the years. What a joy to find a gel cleaner that works just like the old EZ-Off in a jar! I applied this cleaner, using the brush I saved from an old EZ Off jar, to my oven racks, waited an hour and rinsed them off using a kitchen sponge. They are sparkling again! There are some areas I didn’t get the cleaner on and some really bad spots that’ll need a second coat, but my oven racks were covered with YEARS of baked on gunk. Anyone familiar with the old gel EZ Off cleaner, this is it and it WORKS!! I highly recommend this product.

I got two bottles, both without sprayers. I had to pour it into a cloth, it burnt my hands.....Only buy if you get what is actually in the picture.

Either the baked and cooked on grease/food in my convection oven and cooktop were a bridge too far or this stuff is just not as effective as advertised. I had reapply several times. .... Either way, it still worked way better than the oven/grill cleaning sprays in grocery stores.

i thought i could use this in my oven but after reading the fine print i didn,t. it is only meant for grills, can not use in sink to clean oven racks.

Works great on tough grease from fryer.

We have a 1967 oven with our new home. The oven was in ruins and dirty. We had tried the bad chemically spray every one uses over and over nothing touched it.This product is beyond amazing! We brushed it on with an old paint brush, let it set over night. It took everything back to BRAND NEW!!! The black burnt on, cant get them off carbon spots wiped off with a green scrubber and wool pads.The rack came clean to brand new shiny as can be.This product is very user friendly, absolutely no fumes, and barely any smell to speak of.Smells like a clean soap smell. I am over the moon this product did a fantastic job, after 4 cans of the spray stuff did not phase our old 1967 oven. Thank you for a fabulous product, that made the work very easy and saved my elbows.
