Fantastic options for reading multiple cards at once
If you need to import multiple cards into Lightroom, this is the device that will make life easier. I love the bay for factor so you can integrate the readers needed for your personal setup. Other options are in the $450+ price range. This is a fantastic device for the price.

poor design, does not fit most usb-c external drives
standard samsung SSD doesn't fit (the one everyone has) not sure if I can judge based on that, so giving it a mid-range review for mid-range build quality, mid-range power supply, mid-range look, and overall "meh"ness of what is so close to being a great product.

Excellent concept and build quality, but you need to buy the adapters seperately!
I own multiple digital cameras from different brands, and they all use different memory card types. So the concept of having a single hub where I can connect and read from all my cards at once is great. This base is very well-built and sturdy, and it comes with the usb-c cables and the AC adapter, but as the other reviewer noted, it would have been a much wiser choice from the seller to include at least one adapter for the most standard memory card type our there SD card. But that is not the case. As I was unboxing this unit, I discovered that no adapter was included with it, so I went back to Amazon to see how much are the adapters, and they are not precisely cheap. If you want all four adapters, you have to shell out almost $100 on top of the price for this base.So as i say, it would have been a much wiser choice if the seller included at least one. I mean, the unit is a great concept and very well built, but without an adapter is useless.

Horrible advertisement deceptively leads belief that it comes with adapters
Ordered item assuming that since all but one image comes with adapters, that adapters would come with product. No adapters and now I’m confused. If the pictures said “adapters not included,” or some description that tells buyers adapters are not included, maybe I would’ve thought twice to order product. Butttt….since it didn’t, am I in the wrong to assume adapters come with product based on the image and lack of description? Yet, even though there are no power cords in the images above, would I be wrong to think that it shouldn’t have come with power cords? Yet it did come with a power cord and two usbC connectors. Let there be no mistake about it, the advertisement deceives. I’m standing with the other reviewer!

A solution looking for a problem
Right off the bat I'll say: I do not know why this product exists. I know why it exists in a very specific sense -- it's a direct copy of the Kingston Workflow dock that has become popular among specific types of creators because it can kind of fit a popular type of Samsung portable SSD. But I also don't know why THAT product exists. Who is this for?Functional confusion aside for a moment, the TREBLEET Workflow Station appears pretty well built, with an anodized aluminum finish that will fit very well aesthetically with a Mac setup, and a large etched logo on the front that won't. The dock is weighty, though not enough to keep it planted when you remove a card reader -- you'll need a second hand or finger on the base to keep it down.My main gripe with the build of this dock is how each of those male USB-Cs are fitted: There is no spring, no strain reduction, the plug is just fixed in place. It feels terrible to slot something in there, I'm worried every time that I'm going to destroy either that port or that card reader. And there's not even any padding in those slots, pretty much nothing but the USB-C port holds the reader in place. There are some small slots at the bottom that do not help to stabilize the readers at all -- the official TREBLEET readers still wiggle to a concerning degree when inserted.By the way, those readers don't come with the dock and will run you an extra ~$20 each depending on what you need. As shipped, the dock pretty much does nothing. You can slot your own portable SSDs in at your own peril, but I tried this and depending on the drive I tried, I sometimes got repeated disconnections -- using the dock for physically smaller drives is just begging for data corruption here. The truth is, if you need a card reader, you can spend a fraction of the cost and get something that's arguably more functional, less janky, and a lot smaller. In fact, you can get two multi-card readers so you don't even have to take out one of these bulky modules to travel with one. The look is really the only reason to get this, there's really nothing more convenient about having a card reader be this modular. It could possibly become a more decent dock with the addition of some type of padding in the slots to brace the readers/your drives, but at this price point, for a CARD READER, there needs to be a much better value proposition than a DIY solution. An expensive novelty that's not worth the buy.

PROFESSIONAL CARD READER - BASE ONLY - REQUIRES THE INSERTS TO USE IT
This is what I have been looking for for a long time.I am a Semi Professional Photographer and I needed a way to import many files from many different cards at the same time to save time. THIS DID THAT.Just so you know, this device is the BASE ONLY and you need to purchase the units that plug into this to read those specific memory cards.

Buy the modules when you order this or you'll be disappointed
Workflow station? Hub? Not so sure. This seems like a clever concept whereby you purchase just what you need to get the desired connectivity. It seems well made, sturdy and an attractive looking piece of technology. The catch is, it's sold as a starting point. By itself it does nothing. You need to purchase different modules for each type of connectivity your equipment requires. To be honest, they mention this is a DIY edition. I figured for expansion purposes, but out of the box this has no purpose. So let's sum this up. If I wanted to read a CFExpress card or any other format, I have to first buy that particular plugin. I liked the way it looked, seems well made, but I was disappointed when I had to go back and a buy modulars. I found this wasn't what I was looking for.

Docking station only with no card reader
This is a solid build docking station but the product pictures mislead me to think it comes with full set including card readers. You will have to buy card readers separately.
