This works well. My old wire was not making a good connection so the Ipad wouldn't charge. It is charging now.

Returned. Only gave 4 stars because what it seems to be well made, and does work to charge my phone in the car - I was trying to use as a media cable to play music podcast over car system. My car is older and before Apple car play. Had an adapter that worked with my old phone and tried to replace for new phone ‘ with’ USB-C adapter. But car didn’t recognize it, old adapter USB-A worked fine so I know it’s not the car. So if your only using to charge - go ahead and get it. But if you need a data cable then can’t recommend and this is why 4 stars instead of 5.

I’m so glad this cable is available. I found my old iPod and wouldn’t have been able to access my music without this cable! I win!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The cord isn’t quite the right size and doesn’t fit well into the phone. It also charges very slow. The regular/factory cord that came with the phone allows it to play music while charging, but this cord is so slow that even a fully charged phone will die while playing music despite being plugged in. Each time I put the cord into the phone it’s so tight I fear I will break something. Feels shoddy.
