I purchased a Mac-mini to replace my old one, and the new one had an HDMI port, just like the old one. However, when I connected my monitor to it, the monitor would not wake from sleep when I pressed a key on the keyboard. I had to manually power on the monitor each time. This wasn't an issue with my previous Mac-mini.I purchased this adapter hoping that the USB-C connection would have more smarts, since Apple seems to have put all their eggs into the USB-C basket. I connected this to one of the USB-C ports, and the HDMI cable into the other end. Everything "just worked" at that point. All my monitor resolution and preference settings were maintained. The monitor now wakes up from power-save mode when I press a key on the keyboard to wake up the computer.The adapter seems sturdy and well made. Connections are solid. I also ordered a USB-C to Lightning cable from JSAUX, and it also seems high quality at a good price, and is working well for the connection between the new Mac-mini and my iPad and iPhone. They may become my "go to" vendor for these kinds of cables and adapters.

To save some time..This item is durable. Shipped fast. Supports HD Resolution. This item DOES NOT require wifi for screen share. I WOULD recommend this item. the lenght isnt quite long i would RECOMMEND a HDMI cord long enough to run from your TV to your seating arrangement. I bought the 20ft hdmi (male on 1 end female on the other end)I usually don't leave reviews. I then realized how often I read them myself, and how useful they could be. To be honest, this product was delivered very fast, and on time. I even accidentally sucked it up into the vacuum cleaner. For several minutes it was getting beat around. I frantically pulled it out, it was hot, and onpy slightly tethered (no wires were exposed) it has very thick "braided" outer plastic/rubber and very durable. I bought it to share my Phone's screen to the TV without needing wifi...And it does just that. works very well. Even after being sucked into vac many minutes 😅I have the Samsung Galexy Note 10And works to fullest resolution my tv is capable of handling (1080p) itvery likely supports 4K.

Works pretty good great for watching longer movies and shows without your phone dying. Recommend keeping in a bag as dust will build up inside ports and cause reception issues.

Hi all,Just a quick review of the product! its excellent.. super fast, has great reading speed and I had a very smooth experience. Although remember, that it wont work with Macbook m1 and m2 with monitors that don't support m1 rendering and audio without a mediator. If you have a monitor that is old or doesn't support direct m1 to monitor connect, don't but this product as it doesn't have a mediator configuration. Instead go for a docking hub or station in such a case. Other that that no complains!! Great product!I had an older monitor which I wanted to use this c to HDMI adapter, but it didn't work and after a lot of trials and checking with other screens(newer), I realised that this adapter wont work for my requirement. So I returned it and ordered a docking hub!! Amazon did a very smooth transition for my return with a drop off feature at Kohl's.

This would be a 5 star across the board but I'm hitting a USB/TB3 issue that keeps it from being a viable option to use. I'm likely to have to return these and try another device.I'm getting a looping error from two different Windows 10 Pro 64bit laptops that reports an error of "USB Device not recognized" then the device does a "port reset" on the USB port #3 and fails with an "Unknown USB Device" and no device driver associated with the port#3. Rinse and repeat with an audible popup windows error dialog every 15 seconds...The frustration is that the HDMI and Audio are coming from the HDMI monitor just fine and are not impacted by the port reset. Power to the device does not seem to be impacted either. I'm guessing some other feature of the "JSAUX 4K UHD" must be erroring out ... behavior does not change with a charger cable in the usb-c power.I cannot figure out how to disable that port or feature in Windows 10 after digging around quite a bit. The device comes with no drivers to install according to the website so no dice there.Want to change to 5 star but cannot find support or help.

When my local ISP goes out I just use this to watch my YouTube tv.

I use this to plug my s22 ultra and tab S8 ultra into my TV's HDMI port. Both show up on the TV just fine and I get charged those devices at the same time.
