Alcantara Cleaner

Great product that worked effectively. I bought this to clean the alcantara steering wheel on my GLC 43, which I've had for over a year and I could tell the alcantara had collected a lot of oils/sweat over time. After using this product as directed, it looks and feels MUCH cleaner and almost like new again (not quite as soft as new, but much better than when it was dirty). Some other reviews said it smells good? I disagree, I personally did not enjoy the smell at all. It's not terrible but it has a very "carpet cleaner"-y smell for lack of better words. Was quite noticeable when first using it, but luckily it went away completely about 2-3 days after using it and driving around with the windows cracked. So I'm sure I'll use it again because it did the job.

I rarely make reviews, but this is a very quality product that def meets expectations. It worked great with a horse hair brush for cleaning alcantara, and leather. The soft foaming action worked out all the soil from the alcantara fibers. It also is great for cleaning soiled leather. Just apply to the brush and agitate into the upholstery, when clean dab up the moisture with a clean soft towel. The product has a very pleasant scent, and dries reasonably quick.

Worked wonders for cleaning my caked up Alcantara steering wheel. I had to use it twice because of all of the oils and grime from my hands over the years, and my wheel expanded by 1/16”. It works, get it.

Worked great! Didn't realize how bad the steering wheel was looking until I took a before/after photo. Looks brand new again! And this bottle will last a very long time since you don't need to use too much.

The SONAX Upholstery and Alcantara Cleaner does a great job at lifting dirt and grime from Alcantara and fabric upholstery. The foaming action helps break down buildup without soaking the material, and once dried, the fabric feels fresh and soft again. It’s especially effective for steering wheels and seats that tend to get grimy over time. That said, it does require some patience. You need to agitate it properly with a brush or microfiber cloth, and drying time can be longer than expected. Also, while it works well on light to moderate dirt, really deep stains might need multiple applications. Overall, a solid cleaner if you take your time with it—just don’t expect instant results!

Alcantara is hard to clean properly. SONAX has always been a good go-to product for me in my detailing needs. This cleaner works well on my Porsche steering wheel. Be sure to invest in a good brush as well to brush the fibers to get the dirt out first and after you use the product. I never allow my suede to get dirty but once I did get a stain on the side bolster and the SONAX removed it quickly and blended with the rest of the seat bolster. This product works!

Mannnnnnn If you got a type R, the reddit posts do not lie. This thing is a miracle in a bottle. It’s not a strong cleaner, or I presume it’s not, but it’s marketed for removing odors and it does the job. Leaves no streaks IF you pump once or twice on a brush or microfiber towel and at the end go over it with a dry towel to get the remaining or excessive foam. will buy again after i’ve finished the bottle

Je l'ai acheté pour nettoyer mes sièges de voiture qui sont bordés d'alcantara. Je n'en ai pas besoin pour l'instant car ma voiture est neuve. Je l'ai acheté par précaution pour l'avoir immédiatement sous la main en cas de tâche. Vu les commentaires plus que positifs, je n'ai pas hésité un instant.

Funciona de maravilla, estoy bastante sorprendido. Compré un coche de segunda mano y estaba bastante sucio. Tuve que repetir la aplicación de espuma varias veces. Estaba tan sucio que pensé que era imposible. Pero funcionó... 6 estrellas.

Rengjorde min alcantararatt på E46. Fick köra 2 gånger, men med tanke på att den ej rengjorts på 15år samt att detta är exakt vad som står på förpackningen/instruktionen så är jag nöjd. Kan behöva att kompletteras med en gummiborsre till mocka/alcantara för bästa effekt.
